I do like the Helios ending, because you have to remember that it's only the "good" ending if you played the game as a good guy, and not as a raging FPS murderer.

Ive just finished watching your whole walkthrough, and its really brightened up my last 3 days of being sick in bed! This for me is the best game of all time, and seeing your playthrough has brought back a lot of happy memories. I was always curious to see how it was done 'non-lethal', so thank you so much - a truly skillful, and moral run through the game. I am reminded of how 'IW' was nowhere near the milestone of this. NB. I chose the 'blackout' ending first time! Ha. I salute you sir!

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I have to say that this walkthrough was excellent. It's been a while since I played Deus Ex and I decided to watch this as a way to hold me over until Human Revolution comes out in a few weeks. In doing so I was reminded of everything I loved about the game, as well as awed by your skill and finesse.

i just couldnt become the worlds "supreme cyber douche". i went with tracer tong and pulled the plug. fuck it. a little chaos never hurt the course of human history.

@MpowerdAPE Thanks. I think for many people, plunging the world into a Dark Age is too extreme, and Morgan Everett is a bit shady, especially if you found Lucius DeBeers. Don't you mean "Snake Plissken"?

@MpowerdAPE Weird, when I first played the game, I thought I was jumping on the bandwagon when I chose the "New Dark Age" ending. To me, a world of city states, a little more chaos and perhaps some more opportunity for adventure seems a much better choice than being secretly controlled by a human/computer hybrid.

I've played through this game a few times, and watching this walkthrough, I still saw a couple of things I missed. Bravo, sir, and kudos to Eidos for making a game that never gets old. I didn't know it was possible to keep Paul alive. Considering the alternatives, I always liked the Helios ending, too.

Wow, this was a mindblowing walkthrough - I figured I'd found most of the skill points, mods, upgrade canisters etc... but nope!

Also, as a 'non-lethal' person isn't this the only viable ending, cos the other 2 result in Page's death? In one you kill him directly and in the other you explode the man

Best ending aswell, Illuminati would mean things would just go back to the way they were before and there would be nothing to stop it happening again, same with tracer tong (although he is a bluddy legend). If there's one thing JC deserves after that its to be supreme ruler of the world.

Yeah took me a while to watch em all too. I've beaten this game at least 20 times. I'm replaying it, taking notes as I go, and am going to put together a fanfic in the next several months. I want to try to make a realistic story that follows the game, but isn't a lame transcription. "JC picked the lock with 2 picks and goes through the door." I just want to make something nice that you get into when you read. I think it'll be good :)

They're called "Cloak" and "Radar Transparency", respectively. More info can be found at an augmentations guide. Just fyi, Strategy Wiki has an augs article that contains icons.

The answer lies in the many walkthroughs for the level that precedes the MJ12 prison.

When you go back to his hotel room after sending the satellite message to the NSF, do NOT leave by the window. No matter what happens he dies that way.

Instead, fight the Unatco dudes and MIBs that enter his apartment, and wait until he tells you he'll be fine. Then, fight your way out as far as possible. You'll eventually get popped or surrender, but you end up in the MJ12 prison either way and he's alive later.

Yeah,I love that part,I usually lace the stairs and the corridor outside with LAMs and Gas grenades before talking to Paul,then I wait for the screams.Lol.I usually make it to battery park before Gunther knocks me for six.Lots of dead troopers and exploding MJ12 agents.

What a shame that the moral choices you make during the game don't affect the endings. It would be cool if you killed lots of people and acted like an asshole and then chose Helios ending you'd become a ruthless tyrant, or if you were mostly goody you'd become a benevolent dictator.
