Yoko broke them up just because she came into his life. He probably complained about the band and wanted to get out and she probably encouraged him to do what he really wanted. That's what a real good wife/lover/gf will do. It wasn't her fault. John was drifting away from Paul and The Beatles.

Also, she wrote certain songs that he(Ringu) could never really take credit for...such as "A Day in the life of a Pauper" and "Got to get him into my mind". @1AeroForce1 I don't know where @sjk72 gets his or her info, but the real answer is that she was like a tumor or a conjoined twin with John and even brought a bed into the recording studio (she was pregnant & later lost the baby boy in Nov. 1968 coincidently the same month Linda got pregnant with Mary) This drove the other Beatles nuts and we as fans hated it, plus the fact that she was pretty ugly. But John loved her and I've come to tolerate her now.

I seriously think that Yoko didn't break up the Beatles! After being with each other for so long you get kinda bored and want to do different stuff. Thats what John did and others.
