This video is incredibly thought provoking, not to mention very well created. I think this need to be shoved in the face of congress so they have to listen and be exposed to the dark truth: we are what we eat. And if we keep living like this, eventually we're going to push ourselves out of the ozone layer because we are standing atop so much useless crap.

I agree with Lifeations. We've become a consumer nation and are paying for it by all the diseases of our over-consumption.

We know more about the latest romance, divorce, extra-marital affairs, etc. of our celebraties, than we know about our government and it's leaders.

Personally, I liked #2 better...that was difficult to have it read both forward and backward and have it make sense...best example of palindrome that I've ever read.

[1] A man comes into his life clean. At first he learns his world. An image, a picture of our world he can see - a wall-floor. He measures it by steps, touches it. So there is a chair (rules, principles, laws etc his place in his world). He equips it, "calibrates",makes conveniently for himself.

So this may be about what we are doing to the environment and how we keep covering it over but I think that this is more about how we keep attempting to make ourselves happy through consumtion. Another excellent video. I think this won because it's more subtle, but yet literal. papaering over the cracks, painting over problems. Short term lazy fixes are what we do as humans, both personally, and on the biggest scales. This vid captures that perfectly.
