  • So the idea is to spend billions of $s on building a colony on the Moon, so that the rich who owns big businesses, who employs millions of people ,and who are major contributors of the economy ,can go there, while that the people who paid for all these can become unemployed!

  • @vdnaik1985 Dumbass.

  • Ron Paul is a very dangerous joke. His policies would give virtual free rein to Communists and their overthrows of democratic governments, and radical terrorists who try to keep people in virtual slavery. Newt Gingrich is the only one who really gets it.

  • @700Reagan And Communism is bad, how? How do his policies help terrorists? Why are you so stupid? Why are you voting for a man who cares about businesses, not people?

  • Who knew Mr. Frothy Mix could debate?

  • Maybe Romney doesnt want to go to the moon because he's afraid the Mormon church will find out there is no planet called KOLOB?

  • Does Ron Paul REALLY think that he pass ALL the stuff he talks about? or even HALF of it? Let's be realistic we have a democrat senate and Dingy Harry said he wouldn't work with ANY republican, and on most domestic policies Ron Paul is RIGHT of republicans.

  • there are already bases on the moon. i guess newt is in the know.

  • Woops, his focus is not on the people.

  • Newt's explanation for his moon idea is a real stretch. His focus is for the people.

  • im not american, but for the sake of the world. i hope you all elect Paul! Let him change the world for real!

  • So Newt believes if we provide "trophies" to private citizens, we'll see a flurried race to the moon? So, umm, what are these "trophies" and who's gonna pay for them?

Also, you can't eliminate government from the space program. Not unless you prefer to risk some Bin-Ladin wanna be planting a weapon in space pointed straight at the U.S.

  • The worst is Santorum.

  • @panicolino You and me, agree on something!

  • Gingrich is convincent at least this time. Not truthfully. Ron Paul is real.

  • For the first time I actually liked Romney.

  • Why is Ron Paul so hip with the young voters?

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx because young voters are naive enough to think his foreign policy of ignoring the rest of the world would work. That mentality is the same as suggesting that if you walk down a street in a bad neighborhood and mind your business you will not get robbed.

  • @nicolasraage Agreed, also I think he has some quirky "Gee willickers I'm the 77 year old underdog" feel to him.

  • @nicolasraage Im sure ron paul is the young and naive type to be completely incompetent of the rest of the world.

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx I suppose because hes different and the media largely ignore him. If these corporate vested interests ignore him maybe hes what the young need.

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx Democrats are usually the ones who get the young voters... The common denominators? General ignorance and premature ideological beliefs which often have a disconnect with reality. Obviously not ALL young voters are as described... but it's difficult to dispute the "shopping mall" mentality which most college-aged young adults have - meaning they don't pay attention to politics and just want to have fun... Then when they hear some guy wants to end poverty... they vote.

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx Now, my intention is not to discredit Paul… but it’s hard to ignore the paradigm here which suggests WHY a young voter would vote for Paul. His positions are extreme - not in the sense that they go too FAR (because that’s quite debatable, particularly when it comes to domestic issues) - but rather that garnering the support for such positions is more than a bit on the unrealistic side of politics. Still, It would be very interesting see what he WOULD get passed into legislation.

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx Because our minds aren't as brainwashed as older people. We know what's right. We're worried about our future and know that he is the only one who has a plan to give us a future. There's so many reasons why he's popular with us. Oh for the most part, it's because older people only listen to the media and we do research. I'm not defending teens, I'm 17 and I know how dumb my generation is in general. But there are some of us who want to grow old.

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx Because he wants to legalize drugs.

  • Comment removed

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx cuz he could break one at any minute... Zing!!!

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx cause he's the cool granpa you never had

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx Because he isn't a clone; he has actual ideas.

    That interests people

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx Because young people dont want to live in a shitty future. Because young people want freedom! (And because young people like weed)

    RON PAUL 2012

  • @xxM0nk3yzxx because he's got some snappy remarks like at 4:48

  • god forbid this douchebag mittens gets the GOP nomination

  • @TheWarlordinmars - Go Mitt Romney! We're praying for you!

  • Space Defense 3:35 ? what the fuck ? defense against aliens ? what is he talking about ???????

  • @sahandwest it's called Star Wars dude. And I don't mean the movie.

  • space... the final frontier.. these are the voyages of the dipshit enterprise

  • m not a democrat, but these guys are pushing me!!

  • RON PAUL ACROSS THE BOARD IT ONLY MAKE SENSE

  • Newt gets credit for pushing Clinton toward reducing the deficit and that materialized in the Balanced Budget Act of 1997.

  • No one suggested that the space program was any more important than healthcare. Of course we should take care of issues here first. But how can our presidential candidate NOT be in favor of progress?

  • @msenger100 I don't think long-term anyone would disagree with that, but short-term, it's like you said: We have limited money and there are priorities. General progress is great once we have a healthy economy. Generally speaking, progress for the sake of progress can wait. No sense in rushing it unless there's a lot of at least semi-immediate practical reasoning for it.

  • @Firestorm2154 Practical? No. But damn how cool.

  • truly impressed by Ron Paul at this Debate

  • did he just said Bathhole?

  • send the other three to the moon!

    RON PAUL 2012!!!

  • @gangelone999 Thats for sure! lol good one man! RON PAUL 2012!

  • @gangelone999 LOL, that's an idea XD

  • @gangelone999 hahaha i love your comment :))))

  • Romney made a very good point about going from state to state and promise big things.

  • This constant alluding to beating China in every way is bordering to Cold War propaganda.

  • @princeword here here I don't even understand why their making China an enemy in the first place its stupid

  • "I don't think we should go to the moon; I think we should send some politicians up there."

    - Ron Paul

    EPIC WIN!

  • @givemearandomnamenow Every President since Eisenhower has supported the space program. Obama came along and killed it. W championed the funding for a new generation of manned rockets. Obama ended the program--flushed the money down the drain. All the research wasted or shelved. What is surprising is that only one candidate out of the current five supports manned exploration of space. Paul doesn't even support robotic or unmanned exploration. This is a huge area where Paul deviates from Founders

  • I love Gingriches idea of borrowing money from China to put a space station on the moon. Needless to say Romney wants to weaponize space and create more future wars.

  • romney: youre fired!

  • @paulmbraden LOL.. AGREE

  • Couldn't you characterize Newt's remarks about the US being in space before China as an "isolationist" one?

  • Mitt is the worst, hands down .. There's just something slimy about him

  • @thecooltactition81

yes but santorum is pretty up there himself

    bat shit christian

  • Ron owned Gingrich on his entire balanced budget claim...now maybe people will do their own research and stop listening to his BS. Sorry but Newt needs to drop out next...then Santorum...then Mittens

  • @8:00 Hey Mitt, in Florida it's you talking about killing Castro.

  • Ron Paul challenged them all to a 25 mile bike ride with him in the heat of texas........that should have been the end of the debate right there....

  • @FinFags when your dear grand master loses, seek medical help for this cult mind-set you have.

  • @FoxFire1281 lmao, you my friend apparently have'nt the slightest clue what your talking about? Ron a grand master? of what? lol so whats Newt who has been to the Bohemian Grove at least 3 years... get your disinformation, and shove it where the sun dont shine... cause we are'nt voting for the establishment anymore buddy, you have fun in their slave system... as you clearly have the "Cult" mind set you just bashed FinFags for

  • @libertyordeath21 thanks for proving my point correct.

  • @FoxFire1281 how does me endorsing Liberty make your statement correct? you are claiming Ron Paul is a "GrandMaster" i asked you of what? lol, so let me get this strait, you dont answer MY question, and somehow that proves your point? what world are you in man? me stating the American people want the Constitution back, we want sound money back? that proves your point how?

  • @libertyordeath21 don't waste your time he is a moron, he's defiantly voting for Mitt,Newt,or Obama.

  • @FinFags haha, i figured, hes an establishment voting sheeple poor guy, lol he couldnt respond to my last statement anyways haha, thats usually how it goes, people make ridiculous statements and then dont back anything up when someone wants proof, see we ask questions thats why we are voting for the only REAL candidate in 2012 RON PAUL!!! im goin to see him speak in 2 days im excited lol, nonetheless thanks for the message! keep fightin the good fight, we are totally WINNING

  • I don't see how a space colony is going to help the economy. Somebody explain this logic, please?

  • @iceteaguy He was pandering to the space coast sector of Florida for support!

  • Comment removed

  • Newt lives in the past. He also thinks money grows on trees. He talks about Obama spending money....Christ Newt...look at what you intend on spending. A moon colony?!

  • It's not the duty of the president to meet the states independent needs that is why there is state governments! And anyone who votes for a candidate because of the promises he makes to their state is a fool.

  • mitt is the man

  • @mammothorbust Mitt is a gameshow host with a con-man smile.

  • @TheLongTimeObserver

yup except con men are good at smiling and lying. This guy isn't >.>

  • Where is Pt. 5?

  • @caraleenewman /watch?v=VTah_5GUg6U

  • The constitution already does enough to encourage science and innovation. We don't need federal programs or funding of research. Article 1 section 8 of the constitution basically says that to encourage scientific innovation we must protect intellectual property rights of authors and inventors.
