  • @BorbaSpinotti Okay thanks :)

  • OMG UR AMAZING ♥ IVE PLAYED PIANO FOR 7 YEARS AND I WUD NEVER PLAY THAT GOOD (:

  • I don't really comment on vids much.. but I had to long on and say.

That was impressive! Great Job man!

  • where did you get the sheet music for this??? I cant find it on the link you gave

  • @crazymonkey122100: Sorry, there isn't any sheet music yet! I did the arrangement in my head, and have been meaning to write it down for ages, but haven't gotten around to it yet. When I finally do it, I promise to let you know.

  • Man, I would spit up rainbows if I could ever play this. o __ v Unfortunately I only know C D E F G A B so that might not happen /or in a while. xD

    Anyway, beautiful piano-playing! It sounds really good! I listen to it almost every day. ; u ;

  • That's amazing. I thought Tchaicovsky wrote that song at first, and called it "creepy Doll"... lmao.... then, as most idiots do.... I decided to read to description all the way through. Very Excellent!! I wanna learn how!! lol.

  • Can you make a video of this song played slowly? Im trying to learn the intro

  • On another note, just something I noticed listening a second time. the opening 7 seconds are the same chord progression as Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy. Just some food for thought :P

  • Fantastically done! I am thoroughly impressed and inspired to learn this piece for my Ghost Tours :P This song would sound so amazing on the haunted piano at the Museum of the Paranormal :3 Again great job man. From one pianist to another :)

  • The bridge is BEAUTIFUL :D

  • creepy magic!

  • Ugggg.... I can't spend 12 seconds without looking back at my mirror and hoping there won't be a face staring at me....and did anyone else notice that it sort of sounded like the nut-cracker music? Anyways...this was awesome! Great job!

  • I did a "wtf" face when it went to the chorus part. But so fun to hum. Hum it at night. You'll never sleep with little Barbie ever, EVER again...

  • Talented person :)

  • Very creepy. I like it. It's beautiful. You are a very talent

  • this sounds something that mozart could have came up with:D sounds really great, and looks even better! good job

  • that is really interesting

  • Lol the start is same as James Bond Theme Song xD

  • @Pocrtan absolutely NOT. the rythm of the james bond theme is has way sorter notes and the beat is also a bit faster and even the notes are wrong. the beginning is from "the dance of the suger plum fairies" from Tchaikovsky's" the nutcracker"

  • lol the rapid movement of your hands reminds me of that hand called Thing from the Adam's Family.

Only this time he has a brother helping him play the piano. XD

I like how the music came out.

  • @DJ52629M: Thanks for that mental imag; I'll never look at my hands the same way again ;-)

  • @BorbaSpinotti You're welcome. :) After all, that was the best way to describe it while keeping the title of the vid in mind. lol

  • Tutorial's on this type of thing is different than like, a video game tut. Borba here is essentially going to teach you an instrument.

  • This version reminds me of Luigi's Mansion... :l

  • I bow to mad skills, hands down.

  • you know this sound realy familer the beging of 0:08 i thouhgt it was one of the music from micky mouse

  • You are awesome.....

  • nothing creepy about this, like everyone else it made me laugh out loud :P

    thank you!!

  • tutorial??? =/

  • love it!!!

  • Brilliant!! Love the take on this!!

  • the movement of your hands is more creepy then the music

  • @spitice14 LOL, I'll take that as a compliment ;-)

  • @BorbaSpinotti lol hopefully in a year i can out beat you >:)

  • Comment removed

  • remember me?? the first to comment you. i waited for a year for tutorial. T.T

  • @LeangleWhiteshadow: You make an excellent point - consider me suitably chastised. I've unfortunately been really busy, but maybe one day....

  • LOVEE<3

  • I wish I could play like that!! D'X So fucking awesome

  • omg i thought this was dance of the sugarplum fairies xD i love it!

  • This needs more views, damnit

  • can you make a tutorial? Wonderful playing!

  • I think that you made it quite good!! I heard the original and then yours, and I think that yours is better. Very good!

  • Dude, you are amazing! I'd love to learn this song on piano (Partly because it's so amazing, partly because I want to creep out my sister with it), could you perchance post a link for piano sheet music? If so, thank you sooooo much =)

  • Fantastic! I would love to see the music sheets too, as the previous commenter mentioned.

Lots of kudos to you and your mad skills.

  • If you ever put up sheet music for this i would love even more than i do now

  • Tchaikovsky forever!

    Jonathan Coulton forever!

    thanks for putting this up.

  • Great job on this. Ironic, funny, and a great twist on a two classic songs.

  • You know, many times folks type "LOL" and it's just blather. But this one really did make me laugh out loud!

  • Thanks, that's pretty much the best compliment I could have asked for ;-)

  • very witty.....lol

  • Marvelous! I think this is my favorite, and it's definitely going on my MP3 player. I love the humor of it. I think I'm going to sneak your stuff into a playlist of Christmas music and see if anybody notices.

  • this is really cool. i almost like it better then the original song.

  • I will love you, love you so much, if you please PLEASE PLEASE make sheet music for this!!!!!!!

  • just awesome

  • Fantastic!

  • is there somewhere were i could get this on mp3? it blew my mind lol luvin it

  • I second that. Heh. I'm kind of stalking this video because of lack of mp3... ^-^

  • Very cool. it's great for this time of year!

  • Absolutely fantastic. :)

  • This is just... it's fantastic, is what it is. What an imaginative pairing. And I love the left hand work (even if you did steal it). Well done, Borba!

  • Its really nice. Can you make a tutorial please??? I really want to play it

  • Would it help if I just play it through really slowly? I would like to write down the notation some time, but it will take a lot of effort, so I probably won't get around to it very soon. It could be interesting if I take it apart with commentary...

  • ok sure. thanks =) !!

  • when do u think u can make the tutorial? i cant wait to learn it =)

  • It would help if you could play it slowly and adjust the camera angle. ^-^ It's so cool~! I like the song, but I particularly love what you did with the chorus, just because it really annoyed me in the original, heh...

  • Okay, I count that as two votes for the slow-motion version. Not making promises, but perhaps some time in the next two weeks. I'd just like to get another new JoCo song finished first...

  • Is the music too complex for midi-notation software? Would it take too much time to edit to be worthwhile?

Because this is absolutely brilliant! I hope you do a whole album of Classical Coulton! You're already 25-30% there.

  • ... heh... ha ha ha... HA HA HA HA! XD

Oh my god! This is AWESOME. Oh man, a good musical experience, AND a good laugh.

You need to get on stage with JoCo at a concert sometime with this thing. Seriously.

  • Being of a Scandinavian persuasion, you may enjoy the next one I'm working on. Hopefully I record it in the next week or so.

  • I think I have a pine-wood inkling of what you might be referring to :P

  • Yup, there is a GRRRR in Grieg.
