Sure was - the leveling valve was a replacement with a supposed 'better' damper in it (meant not to get blocked) but it had no delay effect at all! Car went into that^ cycle also because it had been standing on high setting and then reversed into the garage, parked and then the height lowered to normal position - itis can cause the tyres to wedge forcing them apart a bit and causes the suspension to 'hunt' up and down but it shouldn't do it as fast as that^! Anyway this was several years ago now
I did! however it stopped doing ^that^ while in motion, it instead just became hyper sensitive to even mild road humps and went loopy again. It now (2009) works very well with none of that craziness^^ lol
Aye, this was caused by replacing the front levelling valve with an item reconditioned by a company who'll remain nameless... they modify the internal dashpot/ damper of the valve to make it work 'better' and that was the result! They never returned my call either.. I thought this would clear after a few journeys and some applied priming of the damper but it never improved and went even more nuts on the road.. Only option was to modify the modification! Now much better.
Haha, mine did that when I changed the brake pipes. As soon as I touched the steering it dropped like a brick, levelled itself out, and was fine. I gave it a couple of turns lock-to-lock just in case there was air left in the steering controller or ram.
Some black american rapper could pay all his blink blink for having this car
