You're right about the pellet gun stuff. Around 10 yrs ago two late teens robbed a guy after he picked them up hitchhiking. They used a BB gun figuring they would not get in much trouble for it, because it's not a "real" gun. Well, the victim believed they had a real gun and that was enough to get the two of them 7 year prison sentences. Definitely not the smartest kids, though, as they did this in the area they lived and the police quickly figured out who they were from the descriptions.

I feel you man, I work for security up in Silicon Valley doing graves, and these are one of the types to look out for. Some are armed and ready to pull the trigger. I carry mace, huge flash light, cell phone, because company wont let me carry a gun due to lawsuit issue. It even dissolves away the teeth causing them to rott. If shot up by needle it colapses the vein. it's more addictive than heroin because of how fast it acts. This drug is rampant everywhere. Ive wondered how the established gangs are surviving during these depression times. Most lower income people who use their 'services' dont even have the extra money to do that anymore and that has got to be hurting their bottom line. Cant remember the rappers name but there was a documentary he shot living on skid row in LA for a week and he said the drug gangs make 20 grand a week even in that environment where the poorest of the poor exist!
