  • The results don't even matter -that was a great truck ride. Thanks!

  • great video, also like your twin design. i have a piece of 4" PVC and would like to try your blade design , if not to much trouble could you email the blade template. Thanks in advance.

  • @visualco2 I have had a few people in the past ask for the template. If it is okay, I will be doing a video on how I made the dual 4 in blade so everyone can see how it is done. I will let you know when the video is posted. Thanks for the question, Lonny

  • @visualco2 I have posted the video with the instructions for the turbine blade. Thanks for the question, Lonny

  • I love to see guys out there working on this stuff. Without spending much.

I want to try to get my wind powered air compressor making electricity. its got plenty

Of extra torque. ck out turbine going up, giant windmill update

  • Good job, Evil Kenevil! I bet your neighbors DO think you're a little off your rocker...lol

  • Good one on the Motorcycle helmet. Your Neighbors must love you... :D haha. Take care.

  • Back to the drawing board. WA WA WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

  • spin the motor with a drill you might get 10 or 11 volts . car fan motors are not good for charging 12 vwind systems i have tryed.

  • I can only imagine what the neighbors think.

  • that looks cool as hell

  • More blades of the same length will start it at lower wind speeds but the RPM will be lowered at all wind speeds (less voltage). Smaller blades would turn faster. If you find a sweet spot then adding a simple voltage doubler circuit will get you over your 12V goal with 2 turbines to at least trickle charge a battery bank. I vote you add a siren to your truck testing, strictly for safety reasons. :-)

  • hi i love your vids big fan...

do be offended but i must question the way your test your windmills. you test them on your truck right? you said of instant the blades started spinning in 8.5 miles an hour but i belive that there was actually more. did you get that speed by how fast your truck was going if so you must realize the you truck might be going that speed but because of aerodynamics the wind over the truck might be closer to 9-10 miles an hour. just saying.hope you understand my example.

  • I am also thinking that you will need a large tail to keep it aimed right other wise the 2 motors will constantly be fighting each other.
