@Bunhead1996 You could always ditch the movie and just read the Margaret Mitchell novel like we did in high school Romantic Lit. It's only about 1167 pages in paperback, IIRC.
can anyone tell me how they introduce her??? we r doing a living history museum and im Carol and i also have to write a biography and do an introduction of her and i tried being creative and used her actual intro but i cant find it......???? any ideas please
While this is deservedly best-remembered, this was actually the second time Carol parodied "GWTW." The first was exactly nine years prior, on her Nov. 13, 1967 show, where she played "Scarlett O'Fever," Rat was played by guest Richard Chamberlain, and there was a character named "Ashley Famous" which was also a reference to a then-prominent Hollywood talent agency which, after a series of mergers and acquisitions over the next decade, morphed into International Creative Management (ICM).
@LastYearsRegrets If you do not know Gone With The Wind by heart you must be very young and should go to any source possible to get the DVD and play it.
@onebaud I know what Gone With The Wind Is but I saw the movie with my mother when I was like 6 so don't exactly remember it. I've been to Margret Mitchell's house too :D
@davidduke180 That was Dr. Joyce Brothers. She was a big TV personality at the time. Very popular among the talk-show circuit, if memory serves. I think she was married to Burt Reynolds briefly.

@ holyunderwear92 I watched both the movie and the parody in my history in film class. I was laughing about it for days lol. The movie is a wonderful classic.
Carol Burnette and Company ahhhh the good ol' days of t.v., when you could watch something that wasn't full of sex and violence but wholesome goodness, t.v. that you could come away with a good feeling...! Boy has the world changed in the last 30 yrs. from my perspective anyway....!
He arrived by a "Streetcar Named Desire" - Vivian Leigh won 2 Academy Awadrs for Best Actress - in Gone WIth The Wind (1939) and "A Streetcar Named Desire (1951)!!!!
