  • been thinking of a general pve axe build u got a template code for me plis?

got 5k blath factions and tomes

  • @SchwalbeGW: All warrior PvE builds should have Warrior's Endurence. Anything less is just uncivilized. After that, its mostly Strength skills like Power Attack, Counterattack, Burst of Aggression. From here, its 1 weapon skill from sword, axe, scythe, dagger for the one you use. So for Axe, the best is Furious Axe (sometimes Cyclone Axe). Then its Distracting Blow, Rez and 1 utility skill (like Sprint). I've beaten all Campaigns with this set up.

  • what i was saying long ago is im a wammo (paladin)..so im wondering what stats i should focus on?

  • @moa373: depends on what you wanna do.

  • @SabreWolf18 turai is an example to go off of i dont intend to use those exact stats but...i plan to have an descending order of three attributes

tactics or swordsmanship are first in line and it would go from there...

  • @moa373: Well if you go sword and tactics... then you have to look at reposite and deadly reposite. The big thing is making sure your Sword attribute is high enough to cover the requirement for the sword you are using. Then getting enough tactics to cover the tactics shield. After that, is getting the most bang for your buck for damage and such for your skills. Usually for Warrior, only Warrior skills are worth using. Unless you go Warrior's Endurence and Sin attack skills.

  • @SabreWolf18 yes ripostes + GD is good triple threat :D. yes i plan to...... use both of them plus strenght...i think strength will be second or third..... depending if i use tactics or swordsmanship first.... and warrior's endurance is somewhat popular.

  • @moa373: strength increase damage output anyways... so its a no brainer. Tactics has always been a weaker attribute forthe warrior and only used situationally. It has gotten better over the years, but Strength will always be the best due to balence issues to other professions.

  • @SabreWolf18 while i agree with that... i have learned that tactics has gotten me more for my style than strenght ever did.... especially for soloing...idk if i want to use two primaries and leave strenght lacking or balance it out by using the three.... i know im considering these three... but being that i am a paladin character class player...and being that im more offensive and defense at times..... yeah... my style mainly is blitzkrieg and guerilla tactics at times :P

  • @moa373: well you can go 11/10/10 without issues and fill with some 1+1 and +1 helm/runes. So you can use all three attributes.

  • @SabreWolf18 thank you ....ill make sure to note it. though i do rush tactics at times, balance is the key.

  • sorry if i didnt specify, warrior would my primary, monk is my secondary

but in the case of a paladin, im just looking for the paladin of guildwars :P

  • what secondary should i use?

  • @yoku651: For PvE - Monk, Assassin, Dervish. PvP, whatevr the flavor of the month is, hehehe. Usually W/Rit for the rez.

  • @SabreWolf18 i dont have nightfall or factions but i will prob be getting them in 20 or so days. so i guess i will wait

  • am thinking of making a warrior ranger build is that build good for pvp and stuff like that.

  • hmm u need better builds.

  • nice

  • hi ummm could i know wat type of guild urs is and if u cud let me know cud i join?

    my char is.....

    ayura flipknife

  • i am currently in a friends guild atm and we really just chill and do a farm once in a while at like 11 at night, but thing huge. I am debating about starting my own guild and making it a Guild Wars training center (so to speak) with some of the other guys in the game that are pretty knowledgeable as well, mostly to teach the game to other players. But that is still undicided.

  • can u show me the build u were useing for ur warrior monk? THe sword build it owns. How do u get that monk spell that makes u hit really fast? plz reply as soon as possible

  • That is actually a Ritualist skill called Weapon of Aggression... it is a weapon spell that makes you attack 33% faster. And I added that to the Rush skill which allows me to move 33% faster on top of it. Its basicully another version of Primal Rage to work around the x2 damage to yourself. Not as efficent, but with Warrior's Endurance, I can manage around it.

  • I like use warrior . me skill i like use Defy pain and Endure Pain . can u show me a good build for me. im a W/Mo

  • Dude I started 2 weeks ago and have got a warrior elementalist and I can't find any new skills at the skills master what do I do

  • Could be a couple of things...

~ Get further in the game, and the more skills will be tought to you

~ Play PvP and unlock skills from your game which you will be able to learn earlier in the game.

~ You can also learn unlocked skill via tomes that can be bought from the NPCs in Temple of Balthazar or other players.

~ Buy more games in the series and go to those games to learn the skills there

    Hope that helps!

  • thank you very much ^^ i'm level 10 atm and my skills are: 6str 5axe skill 3 healing sigs..do you think that it's good?? let me know ^_^

  • mmmm, i replied back but it disappeared...

basicully what i said was, put ALL your points in Axe mastery until you reach 9-10 point range, THEN move points into other areas. I have found point stacking in 1 attribute to be the best method to play at low levels. Same goes for an Elementalist in 1 Element, or Paragon with a Spear. Best for a Warrior, Sin, Ranger, Paragon to get a green weapon and get your attibutes to the 9 point level. You will kill things in 2 hits!

  • thanks a lot man u really helped! talk to u soon ^_^

    5/5 and subscripted

  • (cont) begining because of Healing Sig's ability to heal for 150 HP. Also the fact that I have a serrated shield from the collector's edition :-). As for an overall build though to start; 2-3 straight damage Axe skills + the skill Dismember. 1-2 stances. 1 healing skill and 1 rez skill. Axe is a better weapon for starting charactors, then switch over to Sword or Hammer later in the game.

  • hey very nice job! I'm a level 8 warrior (i started the game 4 days ago) and i wanted to ask you if you could please tell me what your build is like and what abilities you have on your bar. Let me know and good job again ^^. 5/5

  • having to restart a WArrior myself, I suggest the first thing you do is get the best axe you can find (Murikai's Rever works fine) and get your Axe Attribute as close to 9 as possiable (using a axe head peice and minor axe rune also). This will enable you to do large amounts of damage early in the game. The rest of the points should be placed into Strength or Tactics, depending on your shield. I prefer Tact at the

  • i got the guild wars trilogy and i think ill be a warrior now thanks

  • just wondering if you've ever tried the spamming dragon slash/ for great justice/ frenzy build? is it any good iv heard good things about it...and wondering if it would be good combined with an assassin way of master and crit eye...thnx :)

  • Ya, with one of my other builds with the Adr pumping one, you can do Dragon Slash very effectively. And if you have the Bonus Mission Pack, Turai Ossa actually has a Dragon Slash build. Work pretty well, but I never seem to use it much personally. I tend to use Warrior's Endurence a lot for PvE.

As for the A/W variation, be interesing. But you wont be able to stay in that repeatable Dragon Slash mode as you would on a P/W. P/W could Dragon Slash all day as long as you dont get a cancel.

  • how would you be able to maintain for great justice?

  • and i tryed it out last night, it was interesting, massive criticals+ dragon slash was awesome, but once For great justice failed...your kinda screwed after that....ill stick with my way of master scyth for now :D

  • great vid man. thanx for the info

  • Nice videos my friend

I just got this game (well factions and nightfall cause they sounded the best)

And after watching this, I wanna be a warrior hehe

Any tips for a nice secondary profession if I'm using an axe?

I was thinking either the ritualist or a paragon.

  • either are fine... Warrior is one of those professions that can have anything for a secondary, so your really can't go wrong... The tradition is W/Mo because that is the "Paladin" or "Tank with a hard rez", but any profession is fine. Just make sure you stay away from expensive skills; unless you are using Warrior's Endurance, then you can cheat a little. But overall, Warriors can generally go any secondary profession...

  • Thankyou good sir

  • Wammo FTW

  • pretty nice, but some of your info are inaccurate. axes do not have higher critical RATE, though they do crit for more damage (because axes have higher max damage, and crits are max damage with attribute +2).

  • I stand corrected, thank you

  • Nice Warrior!!!!!

  • lmao I love watching ur videos and then saying: Hello everybody this is sabre wolf lmao

  • :-p hehehe
