the cutter is USCGC Active..im on that small boat!
The Active! I have a friend in the CG who was on that cutter. They called it the SNACTIVE because there was always junk food in the galley and everybody was overweight.
It's a shame to see another of the old gallant halibut Schooners passing away forever.
I knew her as a Halibut Boat, and as a tuna boat. What a tragic loss to the historical wooden boat fleet.
I am prooud of the US Caost guard for the lifesaving work. "Good work to all of you."
