  • Very nice lightning storm, amazing video ! 5 *****

  • when the lighting stuck the second time it muched of had lost power when that happend

  • A W E S O M E !

I think that lightnings doesn't have many amperes, like 30.000~300.000... I think It is less than 1A.. and I think this voltage is about 100.000.000 MegaVolts or more!!

  • Nice job holding the camera, you caught the ionized air trail after the discharge.

  • 0:47 WTF !!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn it!! I miss Branson, Mo...cant wait till i move back

  • 0:17 sounds pretty cool 8D

  • 0.07 sounds like a jet is braking the sound barrier

  • Scientific study shows lightning bolts can travel at 360,000 MPH, flashing at 11,000,000th of a second.......find me something man made to ever be capable of that speed!! :-)

  • i know that but sounds very cool that is what i've meant

  • My farts

  • wow, I still love thunder storms.

we have lots of those in summer time where I live, East coast of Argentina, sky goes sort of green and lightings go for ages.

    Good video : )

  • i was in the grand country inn in branson on the same night that happend altho i didnt know it was storming till i woke up the next morning i couldent even hear that yet i should have rofl :)

    im bored =( 86

  • omg 00:19 nice

  • kapow!

  • it looks like an explosion on the upper middle of the 2nd lightning..... if it was, wat was it?? a bird??

  • Don't think it was an explosion. If you freeze it at the right spot, you can see that the bolt just did a "curly-q" for lack of a better description.

  • ribbon lightning, it overlaps itself in a loop

  • Wow those strikes are very cool, even the sounds after the strikes, especialy the second wow! great video.

  • first strike sounds like a gunshot

  • yep

  • i grew up in branson and lightening storms are very common. very brave, though.

  • hmm.... you'd think you'd be able to spell lightning right after growing up with 'em lol jk

  • I think it takes a risk of your life too get a shot of a lighting strike.

  • oops, posted twice. well, i was trying 2 respond to mome34's comment.

  • i was filming a storm and a lightnin strike came 2 FEET AWAY FROM ME!!!!

  • yeah right, and al gore had breast reductions. obviously you have no sense in direction.

  • yeah right, and al gore had breast reductions. obviously you have no sense in direction.

  • I wouldn't hang around with a video camera in the middle of a storm... with no lightning rods around, a flashlight is enough to get you fried.

  • obviously he's indoors or in a car

  • camera was on a tripod on my front porch. my butt was inside the house...

  • i lived in florida over 13 years of my life, and thunderstorms are not toys. stay indoors ,, dont even bother filming

  • lol i live in florida too and we have serious lightning and i lived here for ten years and im ten.

  • Dude dont tell me that was a fire cracker....! I used to be scared of thunder and it still gives me the hybajeebes or however you spell it. But once there was this house across the street from mine, And it got hit by a STRONG bolt of lightning. Strangly the fire didnt react untill the morning but everyone was OK. they had to take down the house.

  • i was afraid of lightning and thunder to!

  • I lived in St. Louis MO for a couple of years, and live in Florida now. While Missouri doesn't get as many intense, loud thunderstorms like FL, it does have a few a year, where the lightning strikes very close, and the sound is enough to break windows.

  • Now now be nice.

  • Nice work.

  • I just had one of these experiences last night! went up to my friends house during a storm(wasn't storming where I was) like 2 mins after I got there a big tree 20 feet from his house got struck, all I saw was red and orange and I saw some wood go flying! Must have blown 1/5 of the trunk away there was 4-12 foot peices (logs) of wood all over the place. It definitely was INTENSE!

  • one time i was up during a sstorm when lightening hit the house across the street from mine, i went fly back because i just freaked out, and hit my head on the table, if only i had my cell phone or camera or something to record it, it was loud as hell!

  • What happened to the house it hit?

  • it just put a nice hole in it, but there was luckily no fire

  • @marsradio when a tre across the street from my house got struck by lightning multiple times, well let's just say only 1/3 of it's stil standing

  • @snickeyboom Did u take any pics of the tree after the strike?

I bet that was LOUD it it was just across the street!!!

  • @snickeyboom Did u take any pics of the tree after the strike?

I bet that was LOUD it it was just across the street!!!

  • @marsradio sorry it was before i had a camera and realy my brother and cancer-killed grandms saw it but the tree is stil up and not on fire

  • @marsradio i couldnt but one time during a thunderstorm lightning strick the steel roof of my school i saw falsh and hreard bang in same second and, SON OF A BLIZZARD it was loud and i created a fear of lightning. i came over it and now i video tape lightning, thunder, and my friends!

  • DO NOT...and i repeat...DO NOT! GO OUTSIDE DURING A THUNDERSTORM! LOL Boss vid man. Cheers!

  • I love how when lightning strikes it makes a loud boom, but how does it make such a loud sound?

  • Because it instantly heats the air right around it to like 50,000 degrees, and then that air cools down just as quickly. That causes a shockwave we hear as thunder.

  • because the lightning breaks the speed of sound , so it breaks a hole in the airpressure and the air pressure close it withe a kaboom

  • LIGHTNING RULES

  • Lightning struck my porch when I was little, we were in the living room watching TV and I saw it hit, big loud cracking noise you hear in this film only WAAAY louder. I sceamed and shoved my head under my blanket. Wasn't fun...

  • WOW...did it do any damage to your home: fire, electrical appliances, etc??? YIKES!!!

  • Not much, the nail wasn't that happy about getting struck. The double-wide felt like it jumped.

  • LIGHTNING RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lloooveeeeee thesounddddddddddddddd mus9ic to my ears

  • wow god bless america!!!

  • Most likely I wasn't down there. But, yeah.. what seen of this year.. pretty boring!

  • wow, when was this storm... I might have been down there.

  • It was on April 5th, 2006. I'm about 3 miles east of downtown Branson and the Branson Landing. We've had a few other big storms since then, but, this year has been a big DUD so far. Pretty disappointing!

  • Amazing!

never touch the poles when it's storming o.o;; you'll die
