Many country songs are written about subject & topics that come from the heart. This one of those songs. Making a video of this song is something I am most proud of in my life. My father died with 2 purple hearts and a bronze star for bravery. I/we did this to show our love and support of our soldiers and their families and to raise money for charity that helps them.
Not ONE dime has been made on this song by either the song writer or the band! We are not famous, just a local band playing in Pittsburgh. We are honored to read that this video has had some positive affect and shows our respect for our soldiers and their families. i am a proud sgt in the us army (i have been deployed to both iraq and afghanistan for a total of 3 tours) and i have always been proud of being a soldier because i know that i am doing something that most men will never dare to do for whatever reason. ive led soldiers in to battle and im glad that they all made it back. each soldier has their reasons for being here and regardless of that reason we each make sacrifices so that our children will enjoy the freedoms that we had.

My husband is In the Az Army National Guard. He isnt currently deployed, but a few friends of mine are. This song is very important for people hear. It brought a great sense of pride and a sense of sadness for those who have lost their lives and the families still dealing with the pain. Many country songs are written about subject & topics that come from the heart. This one of those songs. Making a video of this song is something I am most proud of in my life. My father died with 2 purple hearts and a bronze star for bravery. I/we did this to show our love and support of our soldiers and their families and to raise money for charity that helps them.

i am a proud sgt in the us army (i have been deployed to both iraq and afghanistan for a total of 3 tours) and i have always been proud of being a soldier because i know that i am doing something that most men will never dare to do for whatever reason. ive led soldiers in to battle and im glad that they all made it back. each soldier has their reasons for being here and regardless of that reason we each make sacrifices so that our children will enjoy the freedoms that we had.

My husband is In the Az Army National Guard. He isnt currently deployed, but a few friends of mine are. This song is very important for people hear. It brought a great sense of pride and a sense of sadness for those who have lost their lives and the families still dealing with the pain. I am a proud army wife and I am very proud of my husband and all the men and women in the armed forces. God bless America. Support our troops til they all come home!

My dad recently severed a seven month tour as part of his extension in the army. He only took the extension for me to finish secondary school. If my dad got killed out there, it would be all my fault. Now i pray for my cousin, who is going to Iraq next week. God bless you Scott

I have had 2 cousins come back in body bags since this started, i have a cousin in Afghanistan there now and now my baby brother will be leaving for Afghanistan in a couple of months.
I supported their choice. I stand by them and their families. Freedom is not cheap by any means. All give some...and some gave all.

We know we can go home tonight and our home will be there and so will our families. This is not true in many countries. England was almost leveled, so was Germany, Japan and many others. Now we are at war in the Middle East and the people there don't know if they will live for the next hour. We say we honor and support our Troops? Some do but most don't.

Its people like your father who make me proud to be a soldier. with my enlistment now and know that the true support needed is a change in foreign policy. Our national guard isn't protecting the correct nation anymore. we have to examine the policy makers and raise hell until they listen. I found this on another page. "There are currently over 1,200 Marines serving at over 130 posts abroad, in over 100 countries." with -16,000 vote in a FL county 2004 election, voting is no longer the option to bring'm home...

You know I have a brother in the Marines and a brother in the Navy who are both over seas right now. My brother in the Marines is in Falusia, Iraq. He is in a batallion of about 500 other people, and me and my mom worry about him every day. You know, until he actually left for Iraq, we weren't on the best of terms. This video has made me realize that thats not the last thing I want to have happened if the worst were to happen. This video is the best I have seen in a long time. Thank you.

Many of the military officers we knew are DEAD. After viewing Confessions of An Economic Hit Man and War Made Easy we realize something isn't right. Our military loved ones are underpaid hit men! These wars are manufactured for profit$ of WarBiz, Inc and now 4200 troops are DEAD. Corrupt elected officials don't care about us because we're 2nd class citizens. To go & do the duty is based on some good intentions but morally killing others & dying for lies in unjust war is wrong.Protect yourselves.

Please realize that most people here in the States have such respect & gratitude for all that you are doing for us. Please ignore those who don't!! Just know that we love you, we care for you and we want you to come home safely to your families. We don't have to be direct family, friends, or even know you to love you for what you are doing for us. Also, we know that you love us because you show it every day that you are over there putting your life in harms way for us. Tim Brannon

You know what your right it was our choice to leave our families behind. And its for fighting for freedom for jackasses like you to come on you tube and be tough guys. I don't agree with this war or president Bush but I fight, and i will continue to fight for our freedom. i know hes a hero to not just me but to many this video reminds me of the last time i talked to my dad and then a week later i got the news that he died it was so hard its been over a year and i still dont believe hes dead

my uncle is in the war. all he wants is to be over there.. and he told me if he dies, he wants to be buried in Iraq to be with his fellow troops. i thought it was soo sad when he said that. but now i realize he's over there for one thing, and thats us. so thanks to ALL the troops
