Where theres one theres many! Especialy in spring! Look for spider eggs and shake out your shoes and clothes before wearing!

Did the spider you killed have a violin shape on it? And did you save it! I tape them to an index card and compare mine now! I think we got rid of all of ours but the most activity I think is in the spring

Well I kept it covered and the nasty stuff was absorbed by the bandages. I changed the bandage in the morn and cleaned it. Then again before bed! Thee wasnt too much of the pus left at this point because I had jhad so much antibiotic in the hospital that it was just stuff the body is made of. Protiens etc.

But if u have pus present , u have infection! So have it looked at fast! It could save ur life! This almost killed me! See a doctor!

These pics are after the surgen removed all the black dead stuff and took out all the stiches he had put in during the first op. The second op was to take all the stiches out of the hand and let it grow new skin. The stiches in my wrist and the back of my hand stayed in for a couple weeks.

Brown recluse is no joke...With a bite on the hand your lucky if you didnt have any tendon -nerve damage. The Necrosis can sometimes eat right down to the bone especially in areas where there's no fat (like the hand/wrist)

That type of spiders venom causes the flesh to rot so it can chew it. Typical spiders draw out the blood. Brown Recluse needs the meat to be soft, so the venom works to break it down. Very nasty!
