hehe very true :p i only had a small gorillio pod which wasnt strong enough to hold the camera and lens up - so i twisted it round and held the camera like a rifle! it was actually pretty effective without that little added stability no chance would i have managed this as i was fully zoomed in! the RAW video file is actually sarker i had to brighten it up - i did get some decent stills of the ants though :p this was only for fun!
holy hell. That thing would be almost impossible to use without a decent tripod and careful focusing. It'd be better taking pictures with it though because at least you can increase the F number (provided you have good lighting, of course)
