  • I've not noticed the signal loss problem with my iPhone 4, and dropped calls? Well I've never had one but I'm on the Bell network in Canada.

  • Apple should admit to failure, and just refund money asap. This should possibly go under the lemon law, as it's a basic feature of a product that is not working. A stupid case isn't going to fix flawed engineering. And that a poor excuse from Jobs that other smartphones have the same issue, is just not true. And ,really is no concern of Apple's nor changes the fact that their product is flawed. What is sad, is that people still go out and buy iphones at stupidly inflated prices.

  • People arent grateful that apple has made so many great products so they make fun of it. New phones like an Android or HTC, in a couple years, itll be updated and still be "bad"

  • One more thing, why does anyone who doesn't own an iPhone care about iPhones? Why waist your time ranting about or criticizing those that own them and are happy with them? Android, Symbian, Palm, Blackberry fans.... PEACE!!!

Go in peace and enjoy your phones, you deserve them, you earned them, and you use them. I am sincerely happy for you and your investment. Stop wasting your time Apple bashing and move on to bigger and better things.

    ; )

  • I have not dropped a call with my Canadian carrier. Perhaps this is really an issue with the carrier setting and or sim card settings of ATT. I know at least 5 people, me included that don't have any issue with reception. Why do you think that is?

  • its apple. they dont fix anything. theres never any problems with the iphone. never did anything wrong

    (sarcasm)

  • Hey, to the guy in the video, some constructive feedback, I disagree with you saying that Apple are selling an inferior product - I live in New Zealand and people have tried to replicate Antennagate and have had little to no signal drop. I'm waiting for my iPhone to arrive from the Apple Store Online and once I have I'll review Antennagate in New Zealand. But at the moment - there's a lot of Kiwis who aren't experiencing any kind of problem :) My two cents.

  • not really i want fancy case!

  • Common dude... Apple is giving away cases and giving people a rebate for cases purchased but they are not free (to Apple). Apple is paying the case company manufacturers for the cases they are giving away. This is going to cost Apple $175mil. Not like that will hurt Apple's profit margin in any way.

  • So Jobs chose profitability instead of customer satisfaction? hmm..

  • @izaatmusic welcome to Apple

  • @Cr1mSiR ouch..

  • Sorry but why would be interested in what you have to say? You don't even have any Apple products visible. You're like yesterday's news from the last millennium. Cheers.

  • @SumnerMurrayRedstone I'm not sure exactly where you were going with the last sentence in you comment which I assume was suppose to be an insult but next time make sure you actually have "constructive" criticism in your comment and be sure to check your grammar so that the comment reads correctly.

    Thank You.

  • @bwonedotcom apples do not have spellcheck :P

  • @SumnerMurrayRedstone Your fucking stupid. LOL

  • @SumnerMurrayRedstone Suuuuuuuuch a toooooooooool.

  • @SumnerMurrayRedstone So what? if you quote a book does it make it any less valid if your not holding the book at the time?

  • cool free case from Steve jobs my phone works great but still want a case hehehe nice video bro you know where can i get tha case

  • You look like Penfold.

  • i just tested my nokia e71 and had a antennaproblem.

  • @dyzc FANBOY.

  • In short, Apple ADMITS the Antenna Signal Problem.. Hence, the Free Bumper Cases.. Pretty SNEAKY eh.. Still False Marketing.. Btw, great video.. Keep it up!

  • they should fix it soon because they sell too much fro me it isnt a issue because i always use cases

  • No, I don't think it is going to hurt the accessories dealers. The bulk are Chinese no name, it's just going to hurt the slave drivers over in Asia as they will have surplus stock that just won't sell. As for the bigger manafacturers, their EOFY reports will be hurt, as they have signed contracts for cases that won't sell.

Sorry, no empathy here for them.

  • Fanboys bought the 1st wave iphone 4:s. That jedi mindtrick by Jobs surely worked for them. Even tho the phone will drop their calls, they can still worship them in the pedestals without touching the sacred item.

  • Excellent coverage of the Antennagate Press Conference.

Apple's demo is still trying to distract people from the fact that it is a design problem in their product. Yes the other's you blocked the antenna to drop the signal, but with the IPhone 4 the antenna isn't "blocked" but touched and shorted, after all, an accessory case solves the problem.

  • I believe apples statistics, not media hype that is searching for stories to blow out of proportion.

I also agree with Jobs that they are educating the world on the subject not shifting blame.

  • x-ibit

  • ya its kinda stupid that they just say that all phones have the problem. my N900 never drops calls. the best call quality i have ever experienced. crAPPLE just own up to your failure. Any who the Samsung Captivate Is only $350 unsubsidized. No questions asked. no modifying you plan. just walk in and buy it. and lastly No contract. this is awesome. i actually sold my N900 yesterday so i could buy a captivate. with these kind of prices. No one is going to buy iphones any more.

  • @ilovemaryam08 I dont know about that people went nuts for the Ipad remember, and that is one of the most useless devices i have ever seen. People who buy apple products tend to be gullible, and actually believe they need there products. searesley any anybody give me one good reason why I would need an Ipad.

  • Great video Bowman. Apple hurt themselves

  • Giving way free cases?! So theyre not fixing a dodgy phone brand?

    Fucking stupid.

Fuck Apple...you are ruining your image.

  • f**k Apple. I'm tired of their arrogance. HTC and Android = Quality

  • thank you

  • I guess Im one of the lucky 98% that don't have any real issues with the antenna. Not 1 dropped call yet. I bought a case the day after I got my iphone. I know first hand about apple service from having to have a few things fixed and friends who also needed things fixed over the years. I have never paid a penny for any repairs. They fixed what was wrong and in once case even installed a new HD on a friends macbook FREE! He bought the laptop used and the previous owner had bought apple care. :-)

  • @AlexisG73 isnt the fact that u bought a case the day after u got ur iphone 4 the reason u havent had any dropped calls :P

  • @AlexisG73 Then you got good reception in West Palm Beach, FL. Not the same thing in Podunk Idaho. Right now it's more than 2% who have an issue as Apple made a real mess out of the whole thing. And no, you shouldn't try to solve it for them. Let them do that themselves.

  • @SumnerMurrayRedstone I have actually been living in Austin for the last 10years.

I hope the people that have an issue with the iPhone 4 return them and just buy a droid phone. There are a few out there that seem pretty cool. As for me this in my favorite iPhone yet! Im totally in LOVE. I have a few videos I posted of a band called "Soulhat" on my channel. I shot the videos with my iPhone 4 and was really impressed with how they came out. Video and audio wise :-)

  • Thank you for all these videos that you uplaod, you sure work hard

  • @flamed65 Thanks for your support!

  • I think the Iphone 4 has a possible structural problem and network problem depending on certain factors. I've seen some people can squeeze the Iphone 4 and nothing much happens. When I say nothing much I mean either there is no impact or a bar or two is lost, but no dropped phone calls. I think those people are either in good coverage area's for ATT causing little to know effect from the a possible structural problem and/or the calibration with certain bands in ATT's GSM networks is off
