No man, I get what you're saying. I've done that before if you look at some of my other vids. It's not rocket science. I was talking about having it flap like a bird, not using ailerons. I once got something that kinda worked (again, it's in my other videos) but I wouldn't exactly call it a masterpiece of engineering.
Actually, about the wings flapping thing, you could try to make them flap with Pulser chips, and some high forced wire thrusters. I myself made a flapping plane using that technique, and it turned out pretty well. I also used a Adv.Inout, so I could change the flapping time from 0.2 seconds to 3 seconds.

i got the flapping to work fine.
ive tried everything from large surface areas, to using the wing tool and giving the flaps no lift, but some drag, but that didnt seem to do much.
instead, i put thrusters on the ends of the flaps to push it foward, and when the flaps are angled they'll push the plane up or down.
