hey buddy sounds great! as a fellow steel player you sound great! hey where you gettn your tab? i just started bout a year ago and i cant seem to find much for tab..email me benbeckoutfitters@yahoo.ca....thanks
Yes Sir it is the great Jeff Newman Woodshed Workshop version with Ernie doing the Vocals...Jeff has some really great sound tracks for pedal steel, i'm lucky to have i think all of them...just need to take the time to learn them all, although i have about half of them that i have learned, i have a way to go...but i will keep on pluging along...thanks for the post...Brian
I really enjoyed your playing. I would love to learn to play the steel. The instrument has always been very fascinating to me. Thanks for the video!!
Brian: Are you doing your own vocals or is part of your band. On the other hand, why don't you forsake Texas and come to Montrose Colorado to do some real trout fishin'? Then we'll convince you to stay here and play music. Lloyd You'd fit right in here by golly!
Hi Lloyd...No that's not me on the vocals...but I did a bunch of singing with my Band back in the early 80's and some in my Studio in the mid 90's on our tracks, I'm going to have to post some here on YouTube...as for Colorado I have worked up near your neck of the woods back in the 70's I worked on a Ranch in Creede Colo. for a couple of years, I used to love the Trout fishing up yonder, really fun. My wife and I are planning a trip back up in your area this summer...I will stay in touch. Brian
Hi Austin...I used a little Chorus along with digital Reverb and some Delay with this song to give it a little more kick...I hope it was not too much...Thanks for asking, Take care and "Keep on Pickin"...Brian
Thank you all for the compliment on this song...I have always enjoyed playing these slower country songs that I can put some extra feeling into. Take care all and "Keep on Pickin"...Brian
