Because over-doing it would be ridiculous. No matter how hard I tried most of those scenes would still look fake. What's the point of trying to seamlessly blend a horse chase scene with a convertible...so you go with the alternate route which adds to the humor. I haven't lost my touch or stop trying...I just know when going all out is necessary.
