@TVCreed That's not true... China is able to do both. It's because of state control of key industries in manufacturing, and banking that allow them to carry out huge construction projects and maintain a larger gdp growth than India. China is able to carry out infrastructure projects that benefit both state and private industry, while India lags behind.

@ltmikepowell I think the problem is the United State's attitude towards other people developing their nations. Otherwise Brazil, India and China all would have surpassed the US by now.

@Blackgam3r The reason is simple, they FEAR competition. Unfortunately, those who once fear the competition one time too many shall devour by the competition itself, sometimes in the ugly way.

The collapse of U.S. Dollars and western economy could be happen in the future, and any country that doesn't prepare or exposed to them shall suffer the most. Let's hope India will try NOT to expose too much on U.S. interest.

@Sasukekillsitachi because india is a democracy, it takes much longer for things to get built in india. In PRC its all centrally planned, so if the govt wants something built, it can get it done very fast, without any resistance.
