One feature I like that they added in the 2007 model is that the muffler on the bike is underneath the engine and the exhaust is smaller. It is just a small change but it puts the center of gravity closer to the middle of the bike. The ZX-6R is a nice bike. Very aerodynamic and sleek. It is fairly expensive but really nice.

3 minutes of my life I'll never get back. I truly empathize with your plight, things should change in that regard, but WHO THE FUCK CARES? Why didn't you make 2 separate videos? One for your reluctant political rant and the other for what you advertise on the title.
Obviously you're one of those losers who thinks he can get over on women from a 3rd world country and doesn't have what it takes for the plenty of women in the US. You don't know much about reviewing bikes either. Fuck Lou Dobbs.
I had this bike when I was 17. I could not have had a better bike. It does have long gears so it does not pick up until around 10,000 rpm's. It is a really nice bike if it's your first or second. You should put a bigger rear tire on it than the stock. Don't ride it in the snow. lol
Dude, i'm an immigrant... everything you spoke of was complete truth. we came here legally and still had to wait 8 years to get our residency cards. and now that we have it, i don't believe it's so much better here then where i came from... it's so disappointing, mostly because we used to look up to america, now we look down on it. hopefully it gets better. optimism FTW...
Enthusiasts prefer the 05-06 Kawasaki ZX6R over the 07-08. The 05-06 is 636cc's and the gearing is a lot better as well. Still a good bike but if it's outta your price range find a nice used 05-06. This is also almost 2 years ago so what did you end up getting?
get a 600. honestly. Im your height, and five lbs heavier than you. I learned on a 600, and I feel like im starting to out grow it. if I had gotten a 250 Id be way to unsatisfied. for your first bike dont get a bran new bike. because WHEN you lay it down learning (im sure there will be at least once. its very common) your gonna hate seeing it happen on a gorgeous new bike. start with an older kz600. good price range for a GREAT beginner bike. try a 98
Interestinly I've been more advised to start out with a 250r rather than a z6r. However the people who have recommended me the 6r as a starter bike, have been really smart people and given good reasons. Any advice?
@freespadersuggs I ended up getting the 250. After about five months I upgraded to a Yamaha fz6r. It was great to start on a smaller bike. It really eased me into Bike riding. It might have been a bit intimidating to start on a 600.
@steelhorseclub honestly, I'll probably do the same. I don't trust myself on a 600 to start....plus I can't afford that shit yet now either......thanks
oh comon man u chose fz6r over zx6r :(( d fz6r is d cheapest in mid range class but i think u could get a 2008 zx6r even cheaper btw how much u pay for d plate in us ?
Im gonna be 18 in june and am looking to get a bike. i have been riding dirt bikes since i was 12. Do you the i would be able to handle a ninja 600 starting out
I'd say yes as long as you dont go power crazy and you will hear that a million times and it gets annoying im 18 about to turn 19 in june and i have the zx6r in the video its my second bike i had the ninja 650 first and if i could go back id keep the 650 it doesnt get me anywhere faster and its cheaper
mate iv been riding since i was a kid to and i really honestly in the nicest way possible advise you to go for somthing smaller if only for the first year ?! as good as you are nothing can prepare you for proper road riding and you'll be confident and most likly ride fast special on a ninja 600 ! and i no that when i first started riding i just didnt realize how stupid other people on the road were... ride like everyone else is out to hit you.. safe
@drummer835 most definitely. im 16 and am looking in on getting a bike, already saving up right now. but still gotaa get my motor cycle liscence haha. taking it on like 150 cc scooter we have lol. but i been riding dirtbikes and stuff for a long time as well. but if u star out at 250 cc, within first couple months your gonna wanna move up to a bigger size so u end up wasting ur money. and 600 not that bad, as long as u respect the bike and are a responsable driver you will be fine.
I have a black Yamaha FZ6-N, 600CC, 98HP, 2006. Its my first bike, and I love it! Its a great first bike, and it looks great to:-)
I can strongly recomend it, and its not that expencive. It goes around 18-20 km. on a liter of gas. Dont know what that is in miles pr. liter.
I dont know whay anyone would bye a lime green bike? I think you might want to rethink that colour! It will be hard to find clothing that will fit/match the lime green bike. Bye a color you can resell some day.
I mean no offense what so ever, but, it would be a little more helpful if you went into greater detail about the bike's features when you do the walk around, I believe it looked like a nice bike, but I am none the wiser if there are faults and if it's worth my time. And if you think that your immigration system is screwed, you should see Australia's Family Law Court system, they pretty much display the meaning of corrupt.
Safety first-situational awareness, balance-throttle/clutch control. My first bike will be here on Monday a 2009 Ninja 650R. I was going to buy a 600cc Ninja or CBR. Me myself wanted to be able to sport tour, of course I'm overseas and the US spec dealership sales Kawis, so I made my choice after kicking myself for turning down a 2007 CBR600RR. Anyway enough rant, enjoy what ever you choose. Remember you know your self no us.
im 18 and looking to buy as bike for the first time ever and first time riding one. in my opinion i should get atleast a 600cc because i feel i will get bored of anything smaller real fast
yup immagration problems suck cus they just dont care whith who or wat there fucking with, omfg i bought the 09 250r in july and i fucking love it im going to get a suzuki hayabusa wen i leave to college
Sorry but I disagree. First you should take a MSF course, then buy a Ninja 250. They are a real blast to ride and teach you how to ride the RIGHT way.
you will regret getting one that powerful, especially since all the new 600cc bikes look pretty, and if you've never ridden, you WILL lay it down. I'm 19 now, bought my first bike ever last summer, laid it down, and now i wish i bought a crappy 250 for <$1000 to learn how to ride first. and I bought a 2 cylinder 650, not a supersport 600, which might mean more than just a scratched bike, it could be your life.
@SouthKoreanSoldier im 17 and i bought a ninja 600cc when i was 16 it was my first time riding one and ive got to say its a great beginner bike !!! i still ride it and i dont get bored
I too went through the immigration thing. I was 48 before it all came together and passed those interviews and the paperwork. Anyway, I have a Ninja 250 (07) and someday hope to get a 6R as my 2nd bike. Thanks for the good videos!
Hi. It's a pretty sweet bike. I drove it while taking my licence a couple of weeks ago. It almost has endless power ( or so it feels to a beginner like myself). It's a little heavy though to start on. Almost 200kg, it doesn't really forgive you for breaking too hard in front of a red light or so.
Btw. 8 grand is cheap compared to what it costs here. I live in Norway and you gotta pay at least the double or maybe even triple for that kind of a bike. ;)
yep immigration is sucking... i wanna start vlogging on the streets real bad, i do actually ride off road but its kinda hard to vlog on an open helmet. but i am actually going through the same process you and your wife had to go through, and i will have a final answer next month or the month after... then i plan on showing the island i live in and it'll be real nice by then, since its tourists season and it's reaaal warm and nice out there, but i'll probably start posting some pre-vloggin videos
You really cant go wrong getting a ninja 250 to start off with. First, its fool proof (cant really make any mistakes other than turning too sharply) and second you can resell it for pratically what you bought it for so cheers to you :)

Hey dude if your not happy here go to her home country. I am a native american and if you not like it here kiss it to and go lou dobbs. Your knowledge of bike are zero cause your a dumb.
im an immigrant......i pay taxes....i go to school......im pretty much an "american" by definition. of course...due to the current economic slowdown.....not that many immigrants comin in now...but yea. i hope obama helps me go to college.....and helps me get a license...BECAUSE I WANT A SPORTBIKE SO BAD!!!!! im trying to save money for an 08 ninja 250 r. then i will go for that zx6r. green looks cool. have u bought it yet?
the zx-6r is a sport bike but the zx-10r is a super sport bike also the zx-14r. i prefer the zx-10r because of maneuvering around corners its lighter.Kawasaki zx-10r is the best bike of the year, every year. but ktm rc8 is going to be a problem for competition on the up and coming years. I think Kawasaki has more experience in super sports bike yea they have the most years so they will stand the fight.
Just watched your 250 video, so I know you already bought the Ninja 250r, but the reason this bike is considered a super-sport is not because of its CC's, which are actually less than the sport Ninja 650R. The difference is in the weight, aerodynamics, and just actual power in general. This bike is meant for the track to be realistic.
Out of curiousity, how come you didn't take a look at the 650?
yeah, I know alot more about bikes since I made this video, ha. I wanted to do a video on the 650 but at the time they didn't have one anywhere around. In the future I might do some walkarounds of the bikes I misses. With a more educated view, lol.
Haha ya,I figured that was the case. I would definatly recommend it for when you are looking for an upgrade. Still gets really good gas milage and has more than enough power, but is rider friendly.
the 2008 zx6 looks so much better than the 2009 zx6. Kawi ruined it, zx6 went from my fav, to my least fav lol. i agree with you though, the 08 zx6 is amazing
it has no room for mistakes that all beginners intially run into. slip the throttle in a turn, youre fucked. thats why you need to know how to ride first before you get a 600 + super sport
im starting out on a ninja zx-6r i test rode one they dont have as much power as you think they would, i thought they would have hella power but its not it controlable for beginers
knowledge about them. thats why theyre squids and get fucked up.
but it isnt for beginners. no 600 is, i have a zx6r and i only recommend it to someone who has experience or at least knows what it can do, how to maintain it, and what to do when somethin does go wrong.
ya immigration is fucked bud, im americvan my wife lets say asain i was married there been 2 fucking years is so stupid,, well people should go thru process as i have and you have otherwise can be worse i hate that crap bud,, anyway i love my kawi 650R when the wife finally gets here she can have my truck haha i have my bike and fuck the cops plus get the black bike hehe
I was waiting for my green card for 5 years. I had to sit in front of the Federal building in NYC through the whole night just to get in line to get my work permit. Eventually we moved to CT, where it took like 2 years to finally get my green card. The processing times on the immigration documents are ridiculous. So I know how it feels.
I am having trouble choosing between Ninja ZX-6R, Yamaha R6, or Suzuki GSXR600. They are all good bikes, but I didn't get to sit on each one of them yet.
conrats on actually getting it at least. Most of the people I know eventually give up and go home. Most of my viewers prefer the GSXr and the Ninja being the next most popular. From what I have read the R6 is the most powerful, so say only for experienced riders only. But to each his own I guess.
how experienced are you at riding? you dont even need to look at a 600 or up bike if you dont have any. if youre going into sport bikes, hit up the 250, dont jump the gun. i ride a 08 ninja zx6r, love it so damn much. but if you dont know what youre doing, you can get fucked up in no time.
oh and the r6 is the more of a track bike. its more of a high end bike, and the powerband is a fuckin shotgun that doesnt kick till about 10k
I believe it is the model number? I have no idea why I included it. This is actually one of the first bikes I filmed and at the time I didn't know much about it, so I thought it was part of what it was called. lol
In my newest video I talk about how I call the shifter the clutch. The reason for that is because I felt kinda nervous talking to myself in the dealership. But yeah I know better. HA
but anyways i test rode one in bastrop and this would be my first bike and the power is incredible for a 599cc. but it handles like a dream its very light i think under 400lbs. you can go through corners with out gettin out of throtle. plus the agressive look and muffler is also nice. this would be a great bike to get.
dude you live in west monroe,LA dont you shot this cycle vid part at the house of cycles. whats funny is i was trying to get that same exact bike but trying to get finnanced through then is hell because of economy.
i live in monroe i just like to shop around for a bike before i get. i decided to get mine t mollers in bastrop because the have a better color selection.
Steel checked KBB for you and retail price of that bike 08 is $7430 brand new excellent condition. You definitely should be able to talk him down to 8k.
Dealers always complain they gotta make money from the bike but those fools buy in bulk at a REDUCED price........
Really, huh. Yeah I kinda guessed as much since when I told the salesman my price range he was really quick to drop the prices on all the bikes I've looked at. thanks.
wow-kinda steep for price with th '09 out already-you could probly get them down a lot more-I own the bike, so if you need any advice or tips featureslet me know. ad it is a SUPERSPORT ... very fast and a significant foward lean.+ also this is my first bike as well.
With out a doubt-that way you wont have to "up-grade" when you get tyred of you less powered bike-most people say it's too much powere to start out with but as long as you have self control you'll do fine(atleast until you learn your limits)
It seemed pretty comfy to me. I don't know if it was just me, but when I gripped the handelbars I felt like I was laying more verticle. If that makes any sense.

Btw. 8 grand is cheap compared to what it costs here. I live in Norway and you gotta pay at least the double or maybe even triple for that kind of a bike. ;)
Awesome vids you make. Keep it up!

yep immigration is sucking... i wanna start vlogging on the streets real bad, i do actually ride off road but its kinda hard to vlog on an open helmet. but i am actually going through the same process you and your wife had to go through, and i will have a final answer next month or the month after... then i plan on showing the island i live in and it'll be real nice by then, since its tourists season and it's reaaal warm and nice out there, but i'll probably start posting some pre-vloggin videos

Our immigration system IS messed up!
I'm with you on this!
Random wierd laughing in background.
lol
That bike is sleek indeed!
I'm getting a Ninja 250 to start me off this summer!
Hopefully I can put up vids of me and my partner and crime!
GSxxxRGirl 2 years ago
You really cant go wrong getting a ninja 250 to start off with. First, its fool proof (cant really make any mistakes other than turning too sharply) and second you can resell it for pratically what you bought it for so cheers to you :)

so whats ur stand on immigration?
im an immigrant......i pay taxes....i go to school......im pretty much an "american" by definition. of course...due to the current economic slowdown.....not that many immigrants comin in now...but yea. i hope obama helps me go to college.....and helps me get a license...BECAUSE I WANT A SPORTBIKE SO BAD!!!!! im trying to save money for an 08 ninja 250 r. then i will go for that zx6r. green looks cool. have u bought it yet?
calfan3 2 years ago
wenn man das nötige kleingeld hat kann man immer shoppen.
1560129 2 years ago
the zx-6r is a sport bike but the zx-10r is a super sport bike also the zx-14r. i prefer the zx-10r because of maneuvering around corners its lighter.Kawasaki zx-10r is the best bike of the year, every year. but ktm rc8 is going to be a problem for competition on the up and coming years. I think Kawasaki has more experience in super sports bike yea they have the most years so they will stand the fight.

this story would of sound much better if you ware riding a bike :D

Is that Digital Speedo seriously hidden?
It look hidden between that thing (lawl idk. i ride a bike without one of these xD)
naythCC 2 years ago
I think its just because of the locked handle bars. It doesn't get in the way normally.
steelhorseclub 2 years ago
hahaha, a wall to the moon! like that would work!
now a 700-mile chain-link fence across 1/3 of the border with mexico, for a mere couple billion dollars... that sounds more like it!

im lookin for a first bike as well and ive been lookin into the kawasaki ninja 650r for 2009 good price and looks good.
adams864 3 years ago
the 09 is supose to be better than the 08. Thats what I wanted.
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
Just watched your 250 video, so I know you already bought the Ninja 250r, but the reason this bike is considered a super-sport is not because of its CC's, which are actually less than the sport Ninja 650R. The difference is in the weight, aerodynamics, and just actual power in general. This bike is meant for the track to be realistic.
Out of curiousity, how come you didn't take a look at the 650?
Kempdrumsalot 3 years ago
yeah, I know alot more about bikes since I made this video, ha. I wanted to do a video on the 650 but at the time they didn't have one anywhere around. In the future I might do some walkarounds of the bikes I misses. With a more educated view, lol.
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
Haha ya,I figured that was the case. I would definatly recommend it for when you are looking for an upgrade. Still gets really good gas milage and has more than enough power, but is rider friendly.
Kempdrumsalot 3 years ago
Also the number of cylinders. The 650r is a parallel twin while the zx6 is an inline four.
ElitePower 2 years ago
the 2008 zx6 looks so much better than the 2009 zx6. Kawi ruined it, zx6 went from my fav, to my least fav lol. i agree with you though, the 08 zx6 is amazing

we should talk about the combo cap/robe look you got goin on... not good...
Pow3rGaming 3 years ago
what can I say, the girls dig it.
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
the bike only has as much power as you give it
DSMeclipsegst 3 years ago
it has no room for mistakes that all beginners intially run into. slip the throttle in a turn, youre fucked. thats why you need to know how to ride first before you get a 600 + super sport
MaliceMizery1 3 years ago
im starting out on a ninja zx-6r i test rode one they dont have as much power as you think they would, i thought they would have hella power but its not it controlable for beginers
DSMeclipsegst 3 years ago
you just got to know what you're riding on.
the ppl that go out lookin for a bike, not having
a clue what they can do are the idiots.
they get them for the image alone and no other
knowledge about them. thats why theyre squids and get fucked up.
but it isnt for beginners. no 600 is, i have a zx6r and i only recommend it to someone who has experience or at least knows what it can do, how to maintain it, and what to do when somethin does go wrong.
MaliceMizery1 3 years ago
don't worry man I promise what ever I get will be well thought out.

appregios 3 years ago
ya immigration is fucked bud, im americvan my wife lets say asain i was married there been 2 fucking years is so stupid,, well people should go thru process as i have and you have otherwise can be worse i hate that crap bud,, anyway i love my kawi 650R when the wife finally gets here she can have my truck haha i have my bike and fuck the cops plus get the black bike hehe
appregios 3 years ago
I was waiting for my green card for 5 years. I had to sit in front of the Federal building in NYC through the whole night just to get in line to get my work permit. Eventually we moved to CT, where it took like 2 years to finally get my green card. The processing times on the immigration documents are ridiculous. So I know how it feels.
I am having trouble choosing between Ninja ZX-6R, Yamaha R6, or Suzuki GSXR600. They are all good bikes, but I didn't get to sit on each one of them yet.
russiankid85 3 years ago
conrats on actually getting it at least. Most of the people I know eventually give up and go home. Most of my viewers prefer the GSXr and the Ninja being the next most popular. From what I have read the R6 is the most powerful, so say only for experienced riders only. But to each his own I guess.
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
how experienced are you at riding? you dont even need to look at a 600 or up bike if you dont have any. if youre going into sport bikes, hit up the 250, dont jump the gun. i ride a 08 ninja zx6r, love it so damn much. but if you dont know what youre doing, you can get fucked up in no time.
oh and the r6 is the more of a track bike. its more of a high end bike, and the powerband is a fuckin shotgun that doesnt kick till about 10k

P7F? What the hell is P7F?
SkyeHack 3 years ago
I believe it is the model number? I have no idea why I included it. This is actually one of the first bikes I filmed and at the time I didn't know much about it, so I thought it was part of what it was called. lol
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
It's just called a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.
lol
and you called the shifter the clutch.
no worries. MSF will teach you everything you need to know.... :)
SkyeHack 3 years ago
In my newest video I talk about how I call the shifter the clutch. The reason for that is because I felt kinda nervous talking to myself in the dealership. But yeah I know better. HA
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
at least you didn't expect the motorcycle to talk back to you and carry it on in a conversation.
that would have been weird.......
SkyeHack 3 years ago
250 is a great bike to go with! EVEN PEOPLE TALK SHIT ABOUT THEM THOUGH!
peaker559 3 years ago
Do you always wear a beanie? :)
blackeagles12345 3 years ago
Ha, well in my newest vid I wear a graduation cap. but to be honest I am growing my hair long again and I am at that stage where it looks like crap.
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
I know what you mean lol. I'm always wearing beanies too..for the time being anyways.
Can't wait to see you out on the road vlogging!
Your first ride won't be bad :).
blackeagles12345 3 years ago
but anyways i test rode one in bastrop and this would be my first bike and the power is incredible for a 599cc. but it handles like a dream its very light i think under 400lbs. you can go through corners with out gettin out of throtle. plus the agressive look and muffler is also nice. this would be a great bike to get.
DSMeclipsegst 3 years ago
dude you live in west monroe,LA dont you shot this cycle vid part at the house of cycles. whats funny is i was trying to get that same exact bike but trying to get finnanced through then is hell because of economy.
DSMeclipsegst 3 years ago
Yep House of Cycles. I have shot most of my videos there. they are real nice but they don't let you test drive. You live in bastrop or west monroe?
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
i live in monroe i just like to shop around for a bike before i get. i decided to get mine t mollers in bastrop because the have a better color selection.
DSMeclipsegst 3 years ago
What brand of bikes do they sale?
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
they have kawasaki and yamaha is all they had when i went up there.
DSMeclipsegst 3 years ago
Steel checked KBB for you and retail price of that bike 08 is $7430 brand new excellent condition. You definitely should be able to talk him down to 8k.
Dealers always complain they gotta make money from the bike but those fools buy in bulk at a REDUCED price........
reliic 3 years ago
Really, huh. Yeah I kinda guessed as much since when I told the salesman my price range he was really quick to drop the prices on all the bikes I've looked at. thanks.
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
wow-kinda steep for price with th '09 out already-you could probly get them down a lot more-I own the bike, so if you need any advice or tips featureslet me know. ad it is a SUPERSPORT ... very fast and a significant foward lean.+ also this is my first bike as well.
downshift83 3 years ago
since this is your first bike, do you think it is an ok beginner bike?
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
With out a doubt-that way you wont have to "up-grade" when you get tyred of you less powered bike-most people say it's too much powere to start out with but as long as you have self control you'll do fine(atleast until you learn your limits)
downshift83 3 years ago
Yeah, I have actually been hearing that alot. Thanks
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
Ha, and at 5:37, lol. It took me a min. to figure out where it was. LMAO
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
Ha, at 5:10 I am actually looking for the exhaust. lol. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to look dumb.
steelhorseclub 3 years ago
It seemed pretty comfy to me. I don't know if it was just me, but when I gripped the handelbars I felt like I was laying more verticle. If that makes any sense.
