I am the alpha and the omega, the first and the last. I and the father are one and ye are my brethern. Whatsoever you have done unto the least of these my brethern, so have you done it unto me. (including, muslims,atheists,sikhs,hindus,etc.). You say you know me but I tell you this...before the cock crows you will have denied me three times. You will be BORN AGAIN, go on many adventures, have many stories, the beginning and the end. The father gave us himself. Celebrate.
Sang-sang-saaaaannnng. I used to listen to Sister Doris Sykes and the choir tear up everything when I was a child. Lord I miss those days. Rev. Woods would make an organ stand up on its hind legs. This trio, of course, tore it up. Anybody sitting on their praise in that congregation should be ashamed of themselves.
It's marvelous. You didn't have to save me and it's marvelous. This is wonderful to see these anointed mothers singing the marvelousness of God. He's awesome and I love him. I get excited about how he saved me. Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you posting this! I LOVE the Carson Sisters, they can sing very good. I'm proud to say I was in attendance at this service and this is my church ya'll. Rowoches, you came to our church? I hope you had a very good here, and please come visit again soon. I first came to this church some years ago, and i'm reminded of all the old choir members that were there (a few have died, including Maggie Belle).
Really?? I'm glad to hear she's still alive. God bless her soul. The last time I heard from her was in about '02 and then someone told me she died, but I guess not since she's at Deandre Patterson's church. Maybe one day she'll come to visit you guys (I no longer go to Christian Tabernacle so that's why I didn't say us).
Pastor Maceo woods always have had the best in Gospel music. I lookto see some clips from Gospel Supreme in the Maggiebelle and James Childs days. Of course I look to hear a little Doris Sykes who is Great.I miss the days of sunday broadcast there at the church wit the Senator.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!!! I visited here in March of 2006 and it was truly a great experience. I had an opportunity to meet and speak with George Jordan, and Rev. Woods acknowledged me from the pulpit! He may do that with others, but it was an honor for me...LOL! Thanks again!
Omg, that's Sylvia Carson, and her sister Marva, both from CHA... I know them both and love their Spirit!
