Many of them attended The Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts (RADA) whose Alumni also included Robert Reed (Mike Brady The Brady Bunch), Ray McDonnell (Ex-Dr. Joe Martin All My Children) and Tamara Braun (Ex-Reese All My Children)

it's a shame that Crystal didn't have to more with her British accent. It's damn good for someone who most likely didn't have a voice coach as it was a 1 ep thing. They had Bradly Cole doing one for YEARS and it sucked for as long as he had it. She only slipped on the "can't" pronounced with the short "a" like the Americans rather than the long "ah" like the British.

Maybe not, it wasn't a high point, but the show that we have had over the last couple of years isn't this Guiding Light. It has improved so much. Other soaps are still doing this kind of thing, remember. Didn't DooL have an alien abduction last year or the year before?

However, to me there is no comparison between the quality of the acting and writing on recent Guiding Light to the other soaps. I have tried watching DooL recently because of Crystal Chappell's imminent arrival, but to be completely honest, Guiding Light is not the show that should have been cancelled!

I must be in the minority of people that LOVED this and the clone storyline! I am a sucker for fantasy/cooky stuff of my soaps. I also loved Carly being buried alive on Days...The demonic possession of Marlena on Days...Soaps don't do this stuff anymore! I miss it! Thank you for uploading and I love this!

I'm a sci-fi/fantasy fan, too. I missed both these story lines due to work and no vcr or dvr at the time. I've enjoyed these few clips. I'm going to miss GL when it leaves CBS. Hoping it can find a new home somewhere. CBS messed up. This is one consumer that won't be tuning in to the replacement show. I'll just tune in to the Sci-Fi channel instead. LOL

Well, this storyline was an attempt to fill in more of the past of the Spaulding family. I do wish though that Reva had run into more of the past of the Bauer family and perhaps a younger Bert Bauer!

I remember this storyline vaguely... but wasn't it during/right after 9/11? I wasn't watching much TV at that point but I'm kind of sad I missed such a ridiculous plot... Reva has all the fun!

Yes, it was shortly after 9/11 that this storyline ran, from October to either the last airdate in the calendar year 2001 or first airdate in the calendar year 2002. (Although, if memory serves me correctly, Reva first saw the painting in a visit she made to New Orleans for a story she was planning to do for her show on WSPR & for Holly shortly before 9/11).

For some reason, I always remember the September 10, 2001 GL show. It featured Michelle and Danny in a fantasy sequence thinking about their now 'normal' lives...After that show, I don't remember too much ..I do remember Beth was in her Loreli storline... When GL came back after September 11, Ross (jerry ver dorn) addressed the audience with some of the cast members, and Beth Chamberlain was dressed as her Loreli character. What a sad time!
