I know I keep spamming your videos, and I apologize for that, but I keep watching you work and keep coming up with more questions. This time, I'm wondering how you maintain the tip of the PITT pen. In this, you seem to push down on it quite firmly, but always manage to get some really nice, fine lines. I can't seem to get a line quality like that -- it's either thick or medium-thick, but never quite as fine as this. Then mine breaks and I have to flip it or buy a new one.
@TwigDjango It's honestly just practice and learning instinctively how much or little pressure to apply. I go through a LOT of Pitt markers though. They fray very quickly.
HUGE NEW FAN cuestion , did you ink the pages for the prince of percia -The porter's tale ?? if so, did you work with brush?? just love it . keep that hand safe ..
Awesome, just curious though, do you use larger sheets of paper and shrink them down when they go to printing? (that would explain how you are able to cram so much detail in small spaces)
oooh, the art does look quite wonderful! you have a very interesting inking process. I dunno. the direct to ink thing is really cool. it kind of seems like you're just making it up as you go, cause the blue's so faint. :)
Just out of curiosity, what is the number of this pen you're using (the staedtler)? is this the only one or this number depends on what you're inking at the moment?
It's a 0.01, as mentioned in the sidebar. I used to use different size pens but now I mainly use the one size. After using the same pen for a while the tip starts to split and acts like a quill, and I can get varying line widths.
@cameronmstewart thanks a lot for the info! and sorry for missing the pen number on the description, I rushed to watch it right away and was a bit excited to see it. =)

I just finished reading issue #1 and I could not find #2 at my local comic book store. So I just bought issue 20-21 and they are amazing :D

Morrison is a great storyteller but Stewart's art really sells this run.

Is that Knight and Squire standing barely visible in the background?

Yes, I believe they are usually drawn on 11x17 sheets. Then they are shrunk down to standard comic sizes.
