Imagine you're a whale.. you're swimming in nice warm clear blue water. You sing a song for other whales to see. Something comes towards you and you go closer to see what it is, as you are a curious whale! You inspect this metal object being a boat and surface to get some air.

BAM! A harpoon shoots through you, you are in pain, losing blood fast. You try to swim away but it keeps pulling you up! Your flesh tears, your blood squirts.. you die a painfull death of blood loss or suffocation :(

She can´t dive because the calf is too young, so she teach him, talks, gives instructions, and the calf try to understand. She is giving him the language of the humpbacks.

When I was a child I had theire sound as a goodnight sound thanks to my parents and National Geographie who enclosed a single with this whale song in an edition many years ago.

Yes, the humpback whales almost sound like birds to us in the softest part of the talk they have. They supposedly have a very varied speach, and what we do know is that they can dive at deeps other speciec would blow up of the pressure. These animals are the most impressive on earth.
