nah man even johnny used a fender twin in the very early ramones 74,75 for recording and practice till he got a marshall stack,steve jones of the sex pistols used fender twin 75 to 94,johnny thunders used a fendet twin,mc5 fender twin,clsh fender twins,stooges fender twin...i use a fender twin because of them if you want the true raw vintage punk sound..i also dont use pedals i hate them haha

on certain songs he used a fender twin for the first album ive seen pictures of it and a tommy interveiw where he explained how everything was recorded...but on all the 74,75 early demos its a fender twin.i have the early early unedited demo's from a bootleg and their 2nd show judy is a punk...these are not the bonus tracks on the ramones cd....the ones i have are alot more powerfull and raw
