People, we need to spread this over the Internet, or all big corporations are going to take our rights.

Basically TCPA's goals is to get laws passed that would force hardware/software designers to implement technology that would police your PC. Essentially you would have to have permission from Microsoft or some other Corporation for every program and media file that would exist on it. Same goes for any extra hardware .DCMA would be mandatory for all media, no MP3's. Files have to be something like WMA/WMV to prevent any kind of sharing by requiring license keys in the reg. Think XBOX 360...

I guess I see what you meant. Did you mean to say that not the industry's current idea of trusted computing is analogous to communism? If so, please excuse my shortsightedness and accept my sincere apologies. I just did not find it obvious from your comment before.
Its okay, I did mean it as a figure of speech. It's just trusted computing seems like it wants to have control over what you can and cannot do. It would be like taking your independence away, like communism.
