Back in the 80's and 90's, many dumb VNmese represented themselves as people who had forgotten their language by acting as if they couldn't speak it. The only problem was, they didn't even know English that well. They acted that way because they thought people would think that they were cool. This was and still is a pyschological problem among VNmese then and now. Bizarre!
