  • @brianator145: what's hotsteeze? some website??? please reply

  • @watersport32: go to hotsteeze. com -> it lists like a tone of wake and skate tricks

  • this is some very helpful advice. thanks!

Also, this is my second season wakeboarding, and I can do a basic toeside jump, I can do heelside grabs like a japan air, but i can't get too high. Should i try a tantrum at my skill level?

  • @madminnesotan alright mate, i would say no not just yet, get your heelside and toeside wake to wakes perfect first then try simple wake to wake 180s and a few different grabs, then move onto the flips. HS backrolls are easier then tantrums as you roll with the wake, try one of them!

  • @boarderchris92 thanks, man.

  • @boarderchris92 i have one question mate, do u know how high the rope has to be so you can get some good air???? coz atm the rope is same height as the engine, coz i noticed on videos the rope is located very high up. just started wakeboarding last month I cant get enough of it!! cheers

  • @djramz3 hi mate, most wakeboard towers/pylons are about 6 foot. The ropes only up high so you dont get pulled down during a trick, you can still get some good air from a standard ski pole just makes it a bit harder. When you start jumping and doing tricks a tower/pylon is a must have.

  • @boarderchris92 thanks mate, for the info much appreciated!! also i forgot to ask, how long does the rope have to be? coz if its long theres a small wake but you'll have a longer edge, if its short you have a bigger wake but a shorter edge, thanks once again

  • @djramz3 wakeboard ropes come in 70, 75, 80 and 85 foot, on my small boat i start most my clients of on a 70 foot. when u jump you want to land wake to wake for a smoother landing, if your jumping and landing way out into the flats take the rope 5 foot longer. i ride a 85 foot line on a fully loaded wakesetter, not sure what boat you have but by the sounds of it its a ski boat so i would ride 70 foot

  • @boarderchris92 my bro and i go on his 26ft fletcher, the only small problem we have is that i dont wakeboard in lakes, only in the sea cause we dont have any of that where i come from lol. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INFO, really really appreciated it mate, cheers
