@MichaelMaleszyk That is, because the Sherman brothers didn't use this tune in Mary poppins. And for the jungle book they had to do one more song (for the snake) and so they took the idea of this song!

I heard this song on my "Jungle Book" soundtrack, with The Sherman Brothers interview, I couldn't get it out of my head!!!! I honestly like this version better than "Trust in Me."

@michaelsar12 This song came first. They took the tune of "The Land of Sand" and used it for "Trust in Me."

This is, in fact, the same song as "Trust In Me" from The Jungle Book, just with different lyrics. But I guess that's pretty obvious.
