YO I HAZ QUESTION dawg whenever i first downloaded this game and tried to play it off of steam it said a program is already running or something so i went to control panel and did the end progress thingy and that did not work because whenever i tried to play it it would appear on the pannel at the bottom of my screen but i couldnt actually play it would go to the valve sign and do that and it would make my backround larger around one area (BELOW)

@Jessieluv1234 This is the main game of Half Life 2, what you are thinking of is the beginning part of HL2 episode one. Ep1 is basically an extension of this game, and begins within a few hours of the end of this game. Hope that helps... oh and if you haven't played them, you should play this on first, then ep 1 and finally ep 2.

the console versions suck. Get the PC version. Even if you have to fork out $500 for it, the game is worth $530. However, if absolutely pressed, get the 360 version, the ps3 port sucks. Like I said, the PC version is by far the best FPS ever made, the console version wasn't in the top 100. Get the Orange Box. You get HL2 and all the episodes, and Portal and Team Fortress 2. Easily the best deal in gaming history (other than maybe the Metroid Prime bundle for the Wii).
