  • 75K since that comment of 26,472.... go see him live. I did in 2011. Mind blowing show~~~!~~~!!!~~

  • He's a great musician and songwriter, and his band is great, to boot. Kids nowadays have absolutely no clue. They'll eat whatever chocolate covered cotton that's dished up.

  • Even with the sore wrist he still jams!!

  • He's great, very comfortable song, make me smile =)

  • I had the same last name growing up and the kids and everyone I ever met had many ways to make fun of that last name. Bizz Bizz Buzzing Buisy Bee. and then they played Horns part to. and left out the (n) I was relieved when I got married. Now that I am divorced I have no desire to go back to that last name again so I keep my married name.

  • Elisabeth looks very tasty here.

  • Man i'm only 15 and I like this. Is that bad?

  • @Korndude4561 Heck no! Bruce is a monster musician, and generous "real" guy!

  • @Korndude4561

No, it just means you have a good taste. In music, that is.

  • @Korndude4561

    Yes, that is very bad.

  • Tension in that interview lol

    Love Bruce - he's a Cane!

  • Hornsby!! You an always count on this guy for greatness!

  • Gawd...I love this song. No one can turn a phrase quite as well as Bruce, and don't even get me started on his piano work.

  • @hellhound47bravo3 By the way, the version of this song done for his "Intersections" collection, a live version by the way, is even better.

  • walgreens plays this song all the time, multiple times per shift. It's one of those songs I don't mind hearing over and over again.

  • such a great song. I love his new sound.

  • i couldn't agree with Bruce more when he said that some of the best music made goes right under the mainstream radar..so true in his case..i can never understand why he isn't more popular, i have about half a dozen of his albums, and apart from halcyon days, which never really grabbed me, some of his music is really top notch stuff....it's a pity he never did any music videos too, I'd also love to see him live but from what i can tell, he is pretty much based in the USA, the UK is missing out..

  • Bruce has got to be the most sublimely talented pianist and bandleader working in Rock today!! His level of technical virtuosity is astounding -- and yet that virtuosity is basically dwarfed by the gorgeousness of his chords and phrasing of the lead lines! I find what flows from his mind through his fingers to be almost unbearably beautiful most of the time and I often find tears welling up in my eyes! That is astounding for someone who rarely cries!

  • Bruce's face at 4:02 and the bass have just made my day!

  • Really great song, forgot about this one for over 5 years...heard it on the radio today

  • It's such a shame that this video only has 26,472 views while justin bieber's "baby" has 207 million views. brainwashing i tell you.

  • @OHmygodXoBil3 I think most people watched justin bieber to prove to their friends that he sounds like a 5 year old girl

  • @jrufle

well that still means that quite a few million people like it according to the number of likes on his videos :P . so basically still brainwashiing.

  • @OHmygodXoBil3 agreed but the are more youngsters out there (actually all bieber fans are online as we speak lol) while bruces`s fans are probably not... btw it is 60,055 views now but I guess it is a billion views for that bieber dude! actually that hype reminds of the hype around the beatles only that the people went crazy were a bit older and that it was way before I was born. how many views would have the beatles gotten back then? probably as many...

  • @OHmygodXoBil3 I know man, Bruce Hornsby is a legend, no question :)

  • @OHmygodXoBil3 Simplesmente maravilhoso este video.

  • great song.. such a better piano player than Elton john..

  • "just stroking me"- classic

  • God of the ivories

  • Hornsby is the man! Robin Williams plays a fan of his music in the movie World's Greatest Dad.

  • awesome

  • For those looking for one song outside of The Way It Is (Album), may I highly recommend Walk In The Sun from the Hot House album :)

  • @evilweazel b hornsby and the range debut album is a masterpiece, the second and third albums are also very very good, after that he went in a different musical direction more of an adult contemporary focus which sometimes mean decreased sales, but good music none the less.

  • @driver8train You don't need to preach to me son, I'm the choir! XD

  • @evilweazel This is Halcyon Days, you know that? xD Anyway, i can recommend "Shadow Hand" from the Spirit Trail album as well.

  • Obviously Hasselbeck has no clue... about jack shite. Especially good music. Another reason proving she SUCKS. Go Bruce!

  • bruce wants to smack her from the get-go

  • He's got some soul. Good song. Groovy

  • All his work is great, a true musician. I think this is when he hurt his wrist in a bicycle accident..he has the brace on.

  • Talk about the most under appreciated musician ever...Why again was The Way it Is the only album that got due credit? Granted it was his best, but everything he's done since has been on par. All popular artists do anymore are remix/remake/covers, and people wonder why *I* listen to 'old' music! It takes a nation of fools to actually listen and accept what's super-popular today as music

  • (from another liberal named Ian, btw...) Have you heard his latest with Christian McBride and Brian Blades? It's very adventurous, and more straight ahead jazz than anything (but still recognizable -- great version of Solar in his own style, and of course the title track "Camp Meeting"). The only complaint I tended to have about the radio hits was that they featured good songwriting, but they didn't give his piano style -- those big open chords and beautiful rolling pentatonic scales -- time.

  • Yes! Little funky, cool stuff though, showed previous strength for the instrumental not only in portions of his regular songs but of course in 'Song F' on Halcyon Days.

'Camp Meeting was my favorite track, mellow, but deep. Can't wait for whatever comes next! Saw him in Charlottsville VA a couple summers ago

  • Underappreciated yes.

But also maybe one of the best technical musicians.

  • Hothouse is arguably his best album, with the uneven but brillianht Spirit Trail a close second.

Bruce Hornsby is definately a musician's musician - talented with GREAT songs.

  • I'm getting into Harbor Lights lately-very good stuff. Last song on the CD is so melodic, stays with you

  • The BEST!!

  • i love this song

i frst heard it at walgreens and now i cnt stop listening to it

    i love it

  • He is AHHHHH-Mazing!!!

  • Great song and sick talented musicians (Sonny Emory [D], JV Collier [B]) to back it up! Too bad we don't get the Clapton solo live as well.

I have every LP he's done and there's not a single one that sucks.

  • Big Swing Face was pretty bad, but I agree the rest are awesome

  • @udman008 i concur
