If God wants to forgive you he can just do it and he doesn't need to kill somebody in order to forgive , cos if there is killings there is no forgiveness!

He didn't massacre His Son. Jesus didn't have to die for our sins but chose so in order to go along with the plan of God. In fact he prayed to God for a different outcome at Gethsemane before he was led to be crucified (Matt. 26:39).

Why was this the plan for redemption/forgiveness? The nature of God is that He is just and holy so there has to be punishment/justice for sin committed or else that would not make Him a just and holy God. Jesus took the place of what you and I deserve.

It shows me the love and a]devotion of a Savior that cared enough to go through all of that for me. Not that I could ever deserve it. Because there is nothing I can ever do to deserve Jesus Christ giving Himself for me so I can be in Heaven with His Father.

@GodKillerAtheist do you have a YouTube Account that I may take some time to answer and get back to you? I know that under your logic it would seem we could not identify God. And because you have your own understanding of faith we cannot use the "belief in God is something that takes faith". So what you want is rock solid physical evidence or you wont believe it? it is hard for any of us to get into your fortress of reason and logic which rejects faith, God and physical evidence if found.

it shows how much he suffered though so that we can appreciate him even more and it was just because he loved us so much he died for our sins. the first time i saw brad paisely and sara evans video new again i was horrified, but it meant so much to me it in way made me closer to him. i dont think his death should be beautified in any way and should be part of a song even if only a little. if it werent for him we wouldnt be looking at eternity with our saviour

@GodKillerAtheist : Just because you refuse to believe in God doesn't mean that Christianity hasn't coherently defined God! It has - God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. The Bible is a more than solid base to demonstrate spiritual sin! Christianity is not a cult it's a faith... and Jesus isn't fiction ... just open YOUR MIND and actually read non-Christian historical accounts! You might actually find love and acceptance... instead of your hatred and intolerance!

These pictures portray the greatest love in the universe, a love we as humans can only fathom a fraction of. What Jesus endured before and on the cross for us shows God's love for his children: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life," John 3:16.
