I love these guys and this song, but Clapton tore into that solo like nobody else on the original. The breaks on the original sound better to me than Joey just keeping the constant beat. They all kick ass, and that's a fact. God bless.
Back in '87 my friend Rich took me to have thanksgiving dinner w/ A-smith. We kept talkin to Joe Perry about meeting Jimmy, and he dug talking about Jimmy. So it makes my night to see this clip. Too bad Steven got a big piece of turkey fat on his plate instead of meat. I should have switched plates with him or at least offered. Sorry man. I hope I'm a better man these days.
Ha, how on earth did the clip separate JP's parts? Listen here folks, that track is just JP with bleed in from the jam going on. That's why it sounds the way it does is you can't hear the band at the same volume. With that in mind, brutal, Jimmy nails it, watch his hands.
@reissue I think Jimmy was just SO much louder than the rest of em,and they are ALL pretty coked up here, so they are all struggling with their rhythm, Jimmy seems to be the only one who can handle his dope-he must have learned that from Hanging out with keith Richards-
