  • Fuck!!

  • putting down justin beiber + enjoying the talent = makes my day.

  • much better then justin bieber.

  • John, your picking is so clean and the tone you get out of that mandolin is beyond words.. you are now my favorite!

  • SO, there's a lot to say about this great tune but nobody has offered or asked what the name of it is. What is it? Thanks!

  • @7836andrew It is named California Traveler but it is basically the traditional tune, Arkansas Traveler. Called California because of the groups name. World class musicians for sure, wish they would get together again. Ricky Skaggs has a song called Sis Draper with the same tune.

  • Who's playing the mandolin? He's brilliant!!

  • john moore!

  • I talked with John Hickman (he makes it looks so easy) between sets at a Byron Berline Band show and he told me that California was the best band he ever played in. Certainly my favorite group ever. What a lineup of talent.

  • Great group of musicians working together there. John Hickman's part in this one in particular really floors me - superb.

  • Great band. Some great picking there!

  • he's the bass player. wearing the black hat in this video.

  • They,re all great, but being a fiddler I'm particularly blown away by Byron Berline. He's awesome in his own unique way! I've always loved his playing.
