@7836andrew It is named California Traveler but it is basically the traditional tune, Arkansas Traveler. Called California because of the groups name. World class musicians for sure, wish they would get together again. Ricky Skaggs has a song called Sis Draper with the same tune.
I talked with John Hickman (he makes it looks so easy) between sets at a Byron Berline Band show and he told me that California was the best band he ever played in. Certainly my favorite group ever. What a lineup of talent.
They,re all great, but being a fiddler I'm particularly blown away by Byron Berline. He's awesome in his own unique way! I've always loved his playing.

You can hear lots of John with his own group Bluegrass etc. A hot picker and very nice guy.
