Amazing, unbelievable truly inspiring piece of work. I ran with Hal during the Rocky Raccoon this year, these guys are the real deal, athletes who rarely get any spotlight but deserve it all, who are humble and not self promoters. So glad our ultra-running activity has such a great community and filmmakers like JB!

Too bad the movie doesn't seem to be available in streaming or digital download form. I wanted to surprise my wife tonight, but, alas, no dice. Why not? Take a look at Louis CK's experience with easy digital downloads. I'm not saying you should charge $5, but I'd download it for the full DVD price rather than waiting for delivery of a scratchable DVD.

Awesome, but it's a shame they don't seem to be profiling any of the female front runners.

@themarathon42 After unsuccessful attempts at filming WS100 in 2006, 2007, and 2009 it became clear that even with 7 cameras, this race is much too difficult to film without limiting the focus to a small group of runners with similar paces. The mens race had three undefeated runners and a chance at a course record, so we went for the mens leaders. However our last film Rowing the Atlantic featured a woman adventurer and future films will as well. Thanks for viewing and for your comment.
