We killed mostly Syrians in Al Anbar and Baghdad was mostly sectarian Violence, whereas the only real Iraqi resistance you can find was in Mosul, hardloine Saddam loyalists mixed with Yemenis, Syrians, and other Arabians

But yes, if i was a victim of Saddams chemical attacks or his crack down after Gulf War 1 i would definitly welcome the U.S. army. Hell theres videos of people in Baghdad celebrating and saying "thank you bush". I am oppossed to the Iraq war just as much if not more than u people and I am a U.S. soldier myself.
