This is great way to compare two cameras. Shoot video and let us see it first hand. No opinion but our own. And I'm torn between the two still because I like the darker contrast on the mino then on the ultra. But then again the ultra is a little less pixelated.

It may have width but if u also want that little bump of +HD than you would want the Ultra but if you would want something to record and just want to pull out a video camera the Mino is more portable so I would recommend the Ultra for me just because i want my videos a little higher quality.This is @oWn3d97 's review about what video camera is best for me to use. The difference between the two, is the image sensor, I really don't know what sensors they utilize, but I think the Ultra uses a CMOS, where as the Mino uses a CCD.

If you've ever played with the color settings of your TV, (Cool, Normail and Warm) Ultra gives you a warm color and Mino is giving you the cool. I personally like the warm color, but I do like that the Mino is smaller and can charge from your PC through USB. Both seem good but i' kinda torn between the two.

If the time difference of these two videos are off by 10 minutes or more, the comparisons aren't going to be much accurate due to amount of sunlight shining... Anyways, thanks for the comparisons. It looks like the Flip Ultra is more Yellowish colored compared to the FLIP Mino with a grayish color... I would choose ULTRA.

First off, Why would anyone choose the Ultra over the MinoHD,& second of all this video is FALSE because the MinoHD is capable of 720p HD video & this video doesn't even have a high defintion option.. According to this video, Mino is far better when it comes to colours.

Ultra has kinda 'artificial' colours. To much yellow, while Mino has better contrast and more natural colours.

But I hate how Mino has those touch sensitive keys. Have to be careful not to accidentaly put finger or something on zoom-in button.
