  • BTW, that was my first Youtube comment EVER.

  • I don't see what's sexist or racist about this commercial. In fact, I think it's kind of feminist in that it makes fun of how guys fight each other over vag access- plus the ad wants us to show our ovens "a little love." Who doesn't like hygiene? And so I say, "Hail to the V!"

  • Love this commercial. Hail to the V. :)

  • @siriuslykaye - I was so offended when I saw this commercial, I stopped what I was doing and wrote the makers of this stupid product. And, then, thinking historically, men didn't fight about the vagina they fought over the Penis - whose was bigger. Idiotic!

  • It's a witty, bold change. I love that it's including female sexuality as a strength and not an embarrassment. It's a fun and creative commercial. I also thought it was the start of an epic movie.

  • I am a black woman and I fail to see what is so bad racially or sexually about this commercial. Sexually speaking it is a historic fact men have fought over women, Helen of Troy, Cleopatra, etc. Racially, speaking I don't understand at all what the problem is.

  • @SGR05 I'm with you sister. And it's all true.

  • @SGR05 no they fought over power and control not women. Helen of Troy was just a pond in the whole thing, the other kingdom lusted for power of Troy for years and finally used the affair as an excuse to start war. Cleopatra, same thing. It's not women they wanted it's power and ownership. Women were things to them and it brought them shame that a man could steal their possession because after it was theirs to keep in line. And a good woman never got out of line, especially from her husband.

  • hell yeah.. we don't want no funky pussies.

  • People are overthinking this commercial. It's really not that serious. And the vagina is the cradle of life, and has been the cause of many wars/fights. It's true!

  • @raw9025 name one war

  • @bikergangkids11 Scientist established that Prehistoric men dating back to 5000 BC fought and killed each other over women. Not just individual men fighting each other over women, but one community of men fighting another community of men, where the women were the prize and reason for the attack. Though not a war per se, King Henry VIII separated from the roman Cath. Church for his mistress Ann Boleyn and caused an upheaval in England, which led to the English Reformation.

  • @raw9025 Prehistoric men fought of women and many for many other reason.Ultimately this did make a difference the neolthic revolution was the important point for prehistory also King Henry seperated from the church because his wife wouldn't bear him a child not because he was look for a perfect vagina.

  • AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THIS IS HILARIOUS?

  • Men have fought for it, died even and you need to tell us now to keep it clean? I submit that over the ages they didn't have your product to wipe their Vj-jays. Listen boyz, this is a bit misogynistic. Sure it is funny, but there is a rude undertone. The woman in the grocery store is too dumb to know how to take care of herself. No OB/GYN worth their salt would advise that we use your product. That is a fact.

  • some of you need a sense of humor! the truth of the matter is... men HAVE fought over women (whether for love or just to get some "v") since the beginning of time. no need to get all worked up over an ad for an insignificant product.

  • that basically amounted to: Men have battled over your taint for centuries, shouldn't you keep that shit fresh? Summer's Eve: 'cause let's face it--your funky junk won't change the world.

  • @thesweetness9967 Ha Ha!

  • Trust me ladies all these men commenting on how the vagina has no control. . . please. . . they are just having a hard time hearing the truth out loud!!!

  • Vaginas only control weak minded men and hormone stormed 15 year old boys.

  • Ha Vagina doesn't control strong minded men. Nice try though. (No Sexism)

  • I LOVE this commercial. And you women need to OWN it like MsFbrow suggests. As a gay man I would tell you to OWN that thing and realize the power in you. YOU GO, GIRLS!!!! pdub

  • What better way to advertise a product for cleaning your stanky pussy than to remind everyone just how pussywhipped men really are?

  • its just funny

  • Hahahaha I was watching Hulu, and suddenly, this came on and it was talking about how men fought and died for it, and how it ruled mankind or whatever, and I just called it XD I was like "Sex."

  • THIS COMMERCAIL IS ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!! As a black woman I see nothing racist or derogatory about it! Listen to what they're saying..Man there is POWER IN THE P***Y!!!! I love it!!!! hahaha Lighten up, its just a commercial!

  • Hale to the "P"

  • "Hey ladies! Look at all the stuff men have done to get in your pants! The least you can do is keep it clean for them!"

    Face? Meet palm.

  • Its just a vaginal soap commercial. For fuck's sake, calm the fuck down everyone. Your vaginas smell and thats why your bitching.

  • ....And if you're a man, there's no need to go out and buy special wash and host therapy sessions. Just keep being awesome!

  • I agree everybody loves vaginas. Where else do two people become one? {~:

  • I already associated U of M with giant vaginas, but this crossover slogan really cinches it.

  • Um, it's not really about a "strong, empowered woman" who's in complete control. It's boiling a woman down to just being a crotch. Basically it's saying "guys want to have sex with you, which totally gives you power. So, wash your crotch." Not to mention, douching is actually not recommended by medical professionals in most situations. The vagina is largely self-cleaning.

This is the sort of commercial that only "empowers" women who have no idea that their value doesn't lie between their legs.

  • Some of you need to lighten up but with all the attention, the ad is working!

  • You people are crazy...it's alot of truth in this video! The V is the cradle of life, it is what created civilization, otherwise nobody on this post would even be here...duh. On another note I thought it was funny and creative. Hail to the V!!!! And stop take this ad so seriously!! Get a life or get some V!!

  • Nobody would be here without a penis, either, but you don't see us bragging out it on commercials.

  • @yonskii well women can have baby with men but they decided not men so

  • @yonskii

Who's bragging now? Why do you see it as bragging? It's just a commercial to help women keep their genitals clean. I think you're making it out to be more important than it should be.

  • @Slipsnob

I agree with you, its just a stupid commercial. It was "617pooh" who was trying to make it out to be some sort of women's empowerment psa.

  • So amazing. "Hail to the V" is so hilariously bad. Especially because that product is so destructive to "the V". Ha. "Hail to the V! Then bring it down in modern culture by destroying what makes it what it is"...wow. It's so bad it's amazing. I'm sure all those women in the clips before waxed, dressed in khakis and put chemical shit on themselves so the men didn't think they 'smelled bad'. Yeah. God it's endlessly absurd!

  • I kinda wanna see more of the bad-ass Asian dudes fighting.

  • Comment removed

  • Love it!

  • awesome commercial! lmfao

  • Will this work on mangina too?

  • My vagina allows for me to go to school full time, drive a nice car, live in a nice townhome, and even build up retirement. I can not help that my parents passed down some good jeans. I have some very nice boobs (tear drops I'm being told) with nipples that point up ( I don't want kids, as they will ruin my body) and perfect legs that guys like; feet at one end and my vag at the other. Thank you men everywhere for your continued support!

  • @TinnInches

..dude, women don't describe themselves this way. They just don't. And it's "genes".

  • I dont think this is meant to be taken so seriously

  • This is by far the funniest commercial I've seen. But seriously girls, clean your vaginas. Not even a pro fisherman can stand the smell of unwashed female genitalia.

  • lol, i love how girls think that men are the only ones susceptible to being manipulated by the opposite sex. Men readily admit it, but women deny it while acting absolutely stupid over some dude that doesn't treat them right.

LOL, keep doing what you're doing women, it makes it so much easier to control ya'll.

  • only V i know of is /v/ - the vidya

  • depravity, sheer depravity

whoever greenlighted this commercial is sick

  • ROFL that was actually pretty brilliant.

  • Lol sick advert

  • I just published an analysis of this commercial on my blog:

    commercialanalysis wordpress com/2011/08/16/winters-eve

(copy and paste that into google and it should be the top link)

  • Ummm. No, just no.

This is when we should start realizing that advertising is getting out of hand and is just plain evil. Stupid crap like this is why I can't watch TV anymore.

  • GOD KILL ME!who was the stupid woman who thinks that a little vagina controlls everything?if it does then women wouldn't be sad when we dumb them and the leaders wouldn't be MEN!fuck sake-.-"

  • I wonder why the like to dislike ratio on this video is more even than the extended cut.

  • Comment removed

  • Ok I know this sounds corny but I found this to be kind of moving (after i was done laughing my ass off). It's pretty amazing to be a woman, I love the "cradle of life" part where she's holding the baby. It's beautiful

  • hahahahaa this commercial is sooo funny!!

  • Wat's the V

  • People are looking too deeply into this commercial, they are just showing the power of Vagina even though that's not the reality we live in today.

  • You not only sell a product that serves no purpose but to screw up the natural pH of the vagina, thereby feeding into a shame culture about women's bodies, but you do it with racist and sexist advertising. Congratulations on being utterly deplorable.

  • @siriuslykaye I bet your pussy stinks :(

  • @siriuslykaye I hear you on everything you're saying, but how in the world is this commercial racist? (-_-)

  • @siriuslykaye How was the commercial racist and sexist? I didn't see that at all.

  • R u guys fuckin kidding me, There are women who are offended by this ad.???? GROW UP.! This ad brought light to the v in a more positive way than negitive. Damn i see why men say woman bitch to much.!!! I as a woman Luv this ad.!

  • You know what...we've seen these shower gel commercials with women all over men. It's about time we got some credit! I think this is hilarious (and I'm a liberated woman). Some people just need to laugh. And honestly, there is truth in it too. Don't believe me. Read Lysistrata (sp?)...the Greek play...

  • I too will avoid Summer's Eve products - and not just because of this ridiculously offensive add. Everything from the website to the new logo is just disgusting, suggesting that all women are good for is what we have between our legs.

  • Best commercial ever.

  • 112 vaginas have sand in them.

  • Summer's Eve you are disgusting. I will never buy another one of your products again.

  • The problem is, for most of history women actually WWERE only useful for their vaginas. No it may not be nice to hear, but it's true.

  • @stupidmotherrucker And taking care of children... Why some people can't see why that task is monumental is beyond me.

  • I can't decide whether to like or dislike this ad. It's hilarious because I had no idea what was being advertised until the end of the commerical and, like it or not, everything that was said was true. On the other hand the message seems slightly twisted: a woman should keep her crotch clean simply because it's valuable to society and highly prized by the opposite sex?

  • Why is everyone making a big deal about this commercial being negative toward women. I am a woman and I think this commercial is not only hilarious, but extremely accurate. Girls, stop pretending you don't love the fact that something as simple as your vagina can control a mans mind. OWN IT! Don't bitch about it being insensitive.

  • @MsFbrow It's funny that you're trying to reason with people when you don't believe that people are reasonable. Besides, if you believe that power inequities are inherent in human nature and that have no choice but to control men through sexuality, why are you trying to help your competition? You should just let them continue to have the wrong policy towards men so that you will have a better selection of men to control and exploit.

  • @MsFbrow Really? Its not a fact that you can control a mans mind with a vagina, You should focus on controlling a mans mind with a personality. Having that outlook really degrades a woman and it also makes people have the wrong impression of what a strong woman should be. Thats just gross to insinuate that if you go around teasing men/giving it up that you can control them. Get Educated and make an ACTUALLY positive image of a woman.

  • @MsFbrow i feel the same way. i was cracking up at the beginning with the woman rocking the baby on the mountain. women wear makeup, dye and perm their hair, go on diets, etc. apparently that's okay but wiping your birth canal entrance/pleasure center/man seducer with floral fresia is downgrading to your femininity. babies don't need lavender scented powder for their hinies. men don't need axe. but if you want to smell like a garden down there that's your personal choice.

  • @corcovadoquelindo What was it about the woman rocking the baby on the mountain that you found so hilarious? "The cradle of life". Cradles rock. Centuries ago people held their newborn babies up to the sky because they considered their babies a gift from heaven.

  • @MsFbrow

Uh, don't you think that is a little offensive to MEN? You don't control us, cunt.

  • @MsFbrow

    Agreed. loool

  • POISE COPYCAT.

  • Are you total idiots? Just wondering. Geezus.

  • Clever commercial, but the problem is....feminine deodorizing products are ANTI-vagina, since their whole purpose is to mask and change the vagina from it's natural state.

  • I hope that someone was taking notes during the meetings that inspired this series of ads. This is going to go down as one of the biggest advertising disasters in history. It's a shame that modernity has dispensed with the need for your "brand." The product ITSELF is offensive. Anyone who worked on this disaster with an IQ over 100 should set about writing a comedic screenplay immediately.

Here's what I want to know: Did you use the same puppeteer for all three of the offensive "hand" ads?

  • Loved it!!!!!

  • Who is the Egyptian woman?????? She is gorgeous!! Someone please find out!!

  • HAHA! LMAO! This commercial is so true! ;)

  • so using vagina soap will make me an egyptian princess, a samurai warrior, and a midieval queen? sounds legit

  • @shesgotwhatittakes lmao! well i better go get me some of that cootie wash right now

  • umm. no bitches.

  • Cheese factories

  • If anyone on the planet can make a better commercial than this, I'll actually give them 5 dollars. Because I don't think it can be done.

  • this is what i hear from the 2 of you... bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch moan moan moan moan nag nag nag nag nag nag. Get off the rag! And i too am female and i thought it was hilarious. I am a lesbian tho so... take it for what its worth

  • hahahahaha pussy

  • Everything it said is true, I don't get what all the hate is about. Sounds like some penis people are insecure... tsk tsk. No need to be afraid, boys! We'll keep letting you think you run things :)

  • I found this video so offensive. Too often do commercials and mass media try to present a product as an act of empowerment to women, and it is anything but that. We are more than our sex organs! Ugh,for you to continue putting the message that we should be proud to gain power by using our vagina and not our brains disgusts me! Wrong approach Summer's Eve.

  • @Monkmiester You totally missed the entire point. Please grab a dictionary and look up these two words: objectification and hegemony. There is a difference. Recognizing the effectiveness and power of our endowment is not objectification. Besides, men and women aren't equal, sorry to burst your bubble. Men will always have more power in institutional arenas like business, and women will always have more power in non-institutional arenas like creating life and keeping the planet going.

  • @gladitsnotme Haha! No bubble burst over here! You just continue to remind me that It is people like you who keep these kind of perimeters that sexes of ALL KIND suffer from. I can see what is going on in our society myself, so spare me the elementary lectures. Just because sexism of ANY kind is status quo, doesn't make it right, and doesn't make it funny at the expense of others. Shame on you.

  • They need to make a cleansing wipe for men.

"Men's cleanings wipes! Clean off all those one night stands and STD's you've accumulated for all those people you've slept with."

  • I like this ad. Why id everybody so sensitive?

  • Ladies please.. it's just a vagina.

  • @Velazquez283

    Guys, please. . it's just a penis.

  • @bitterxreilly And a mighty penis it is.

  • omg I saw this on tv and it was like INTENSE lol I got excited to see what it was about and then I realized it was about vaginas and I like died laughing! I did not expect that and it is SO true haha

  • couldn't believe this commercial actually came on...ridiculous. Heard about it on Colbert and then I'm trying to watch tv and this comes on...

  • Awesome.. so now women have to drown the natural balance of our crotches just to please men. We need to show "it" a lil love?! Are you kidding me?! This is one of the most sexist commercials I have ever seen.

  • I think it's a great commercial! Funny, empowering, entertaining and certainly: No Worse than erectile dysfunction ads!!!

  • BOYCOTT SUMMER'S EVE PRODUCTS!

  • I saw this ad at the theater before watching the last Harry Potter movie. You know it's slightly better than the typical beach scenery commercial, slightly.

  • What I learned: Pussy is the root of all evil

  • Ill never make puppet faces with my hand again.

  • omg, really ppl? this is a COMMERCIAL. it is meant to be funny. get a sense of humor. damn.

would you prefer it if the commercial simply said: Pussy stink? Clean it up with Summer's Eve?

  • wow really ? the vagina is the most powerful thing on earth ? shame

  • What a way to say forget about equality, women's power comes from one place.

The funny thing is that these halfwits probably think it's a compliment rather than an insult.

  • hhaatttss soooo freaaakinnng funnny !!!! xD

  • Wow!! Really? What idiot came up with this concept???

  • My stomach hurts from laughing! That was not what I expected At all, freaking hilarious!!!

  • Hahaha Ohh My God! Me And My Sister Saw This Commercial...Looked at eachother for 3 seconds And Busted Out Laughinggg! I Think Its Hilarious..C'mon people focus on the comedy of it!! lol :D

  • If you don't like it , don't watch it,

    don't buy the damn' product!

"Demeaning towards Men?" You get off your "High Horse" !!!

  • Saw this in the movie theatre... WHAT THE FUCK?

  • I've seen Goatse, I've seen Tubgirl, I've even seen Lemon Party. But, I never truly started gagging until I saw these V commercials. What do men want? Pussy! What is the reason for women to exist? Pussy!! Then my sideways talking friend shows up and I puke.

  • I think its funny because I would have never expected this to be a Summer's Eve commercial xD

  • western feminist propaganda like this that brainwashes people to free mothers who murder their own kids. just like the jury freed Casey Anthony with "not guilty". Again why would REAL MEN worship p@ssy?

  • Stop buying the product/tell all your friends!

Summer's Eve is made by CB Fleet which has an all male leadership team. Head of marketing Bruce Montgomery had to have approved the campaign. Google CB Fleet Businessweek for more info. Stan Richards is the founder of The Richards Group, Dallas which produced the ads.

  • So this whole hail to the V campaign is supposed to be empowering to women? I mean they're saying that the only important thing women have to offer is their vagina, so you better wash it cause that's all you got going for you ladies.

  • It is the most POWERFUL thing on earth! Thats why prostitution is illegal.

  • I love mine because of the things it does FOR ME, not what it does for boyfriends.

  • 38 women pussys are stanky as fucc lol

  • I think everyone bitching is a self denying pseudo-feminist that seems to ignore history. Yes you don't need anything special besides mild soap and water to take care of yourself, however the beginning of the ad isn't inaccurate. No we shouldn't be put on a pedestal, but the message is take care of your vag because it IS important (and history has proven the importance of the vagina, and what importance others have placed on it in the past. Hello? Trojan war, and fertility goddesses anyone?).

  • What's with all the dislikes? This is an awesome commercial! XD

  • Well, I think it's funny as shit, some people can't take a fucking joke.

  • Okay, I don't buy into the need to clean your "V" with anything special but this commercial is funny and everybody who's crying about the fact that the commercial says that all men are interested in is our sex well, it's a joke about as old as time, so suck it up and be able to laugh at yourself, and our species as a whole.

  • this was a gay guy's idea. no self respecting woman could have come up with this . I think it was a group of gay men.

  • @tallmandingo22 sry hun but us gays would never praise pussy... this is all straight men here.

  • I liked the commercial mostly..the only thing is at the end the statement "C'mon ladies show it a little love" insinuates that women aren't already hygiene conscious! I believe as long as you empower women with choice and maybe show how other products are not as effective as yours would be more powerful. But I love how you speak the truth about the power of Women (not just her vagina). So a little tweaking at the end could produce a winner for you!

  • I'm going to be honest, this ad was disgusting to me on so many levels. It was like one of those raunchy skits you see on those late night shows on HBO that you expect to be dirty. Did Chris Rock write the script for this? Seriously Summer's Eve, you suck this time at marketing your product. Try giving a little more respect to your target market next time! Hail to the V? Try Hell to the NO!!!

  • women are reducded to only their vagainas.

  • So it wasn't bad enough that you told us we couldn't get a raise because of our smelly Vajajays, now we're being told that our power comes from men wanting to "get up in that". Stay Classy Summer's Eve!

  • No freaking way? This is real?

  • pussy rules the world. PERSONALITY, LEADERSHIP SKILLS & MENTAL STRENGTH can be amplified by good pussy and no pussy is good if it is dirty... just my opinion. not sayin you need summerseve to be clean, but the commercial is hard!

  • Okay so you're saying men only like us for our vaginas.... Great.

  • It's about time we start celebrating the vagina!!

  • Yeah, because no one is ever attracted to PERSONALITY, LEADERSHIP SKILLS OR oh I don't know, MENTAL STRENGTH? What a terrible ad.

  • @gizmogal89 "Leadership skills"? Yeah, nothing makes a man hot for woman like her leadership skills. You sound like you've been reading too many nazi feminism manuals.

  • @gizmogal89 Yeah, this ad is demeaning towards men! It acts like that one thing is all men care about and that we have no self control otherwise.

I mean, comon, I like soft clean skin as much as the next guy, but this is silly.

  • @gizmogal89 get off your damn high horse. seriously.

  • @kurrbee High horse = saying people care about more than just vaginas, vaginas, vaginas?

  • @gizmogal89 omg dude/chick, it is a commercial. and a f*ckin funny one at that!

  • @gizmogal89 thats a fat girl :)

  • @gizmogal89 It's Summer's Eve. They aren't supposed to be selling personality traits here. Take it easy, there.

  • @gizmogal89 There are tons of guys out there attracted to personality, but Summers Eve doesn't sell medicated personality wipes.

  • @troyareyes Just because its an ad to do with Vaginas, not personality doesn't mean they have to make it so obnoxious.

  • OMIGAWD I AM LAUGHING SO FRICKING HARD. LOL

  • LMAO!

  • Epic.

  • Jus seen this commercial on vh1 2 damn funny!!!!

  • Pussy, meet pedestal.

  • Come on, Ladies (and anyone else with a vagina, by the way), show it some love and rinse it with warm water and mild soap (you know, like Dove Soap, which nobody could possibly be expected to already have in the shower), and definitely show it some respect by not giving this company any of your money.
