So amusing that wee little "billjesusgates" decided to troll this reply thread for this video. He's just some wee child desperate for attention. Well, "billjesusgates", you got some attention. Do you feel ALL better now, wee child? :P
i think the best part about Ministry's music (apart from it's well written lyrics and awesome music) is that it makes you want to punch a hole in a wall and very effectively manages to pump you up
I saw them play in Seattle in 92' at the Seattle Arena and Chris Cornell sang "So What" then members of Pearl Jam came on and they did Black Sabbath for the anchore. It was really good show.
I saw Ministry in a hockey rink w/ Sepultura & Helmut,, Ministry has 5 guitars , 2 drummers & such a backdrop ,, unbelievable how big that pit was ,, I lost my girlfriend for 1/2 hour in it,, wow , that was Gardner Massachusetts, 1991,, i still hear in my dreams
Chris Connelly is lead vocals on this particular song but if you look to Alien, on keyboards, he is doing background vocals in unison! Amazing song! Made me fall in love with Ministry/RevCo
Chris Connelly is amazing. He now does completely different stuff, but his delivery is as great if not better now. Very talented man. His book is very funny. He has great respect for Paul and Bill, but isn't Al's fan. He was almost kicked out of Ministry btw. Who knows why Al decided to keep him. Smartest move in his life. Without Connelly "Mind..." would never be that great.
My buddy Erik and I moshed at the Austin show at Austin City Music Hall and the Dallas show at Club Clearview and partied with Al and Luke Van Acker at The Ambassador Hotel in Dallas. Awesome experience - like Jimi Hendrix. The live show was just like this video.
slipknot aint worth the hairy stinky demon asshole they crawled out off Satan himself is embarrased to have them fronting as worshipers .ah ha ha..hail MINISTRY...
You said it. The first time I saw ministry i decided to get as close as possible to the stage. Biggest mistake of my life. I couldnt hear shit for days.
i luv the 90's...i never saw this band but i went to a lot of shows and used to hear them between gigs...brings back a lot of cool and funky memories...they still rock
i read that ministry broke up because they had a difficult time selling their music. i have an idea to revive the career. ministry can an opening act for Slipknot tours and warm up the crowd for 30 minutes. after that they could open up a booth sell their CDs to the concert goers for $ 2.
i can't see ministry selling their CD for more than $ 2..especially to Slipknot fans like me. a good Slipknot t shirt costs $ 25. anyways, if ministry sells more than 50 CDs, they will make $ 100. that should be enough for them to live on for two weeks, until their next gig.
A band does not get 100% of profits from a CD. At most a band, all together, gets something like 5-25%, depending on their recording contract. Unless the band produces, records, markets, and sells the CD entirely on their own (which, surprise, Ministry doesn't), they make very little profit. Most profit comes from shows.
RESPECT! I feel sorry for kids nowadays with nothing truly great to inspire them. This is the real shit here, hey Joey Jordison from Slipknot played drums for them recently, I'm sure he knows what's up. Do your homework, kids! Or stay stupid...
Lol> Yeah... these guys were rockin WAY before Slipknot was even a concept. To give away my age... I saw these guys when I was 17 on the Psalm 69 tour... that was about 15 years ago. They had Helmet & Sepultura opening up for them at a place in Lakewood that doesn't even exist anymore. Still one of the best shows I have ever seen. Got my ass kicked! It was awesome
Ministry (and the all-star cast from this tour in particular) was comprised of DOZENS of people who changed the face of music forever, and bands like Slipknot would probably not exist if it hadn't been for Ministry. In fact, Joey Jordison (#1, as you know him) played drums for Ministry more than 15 years AFTER this footage was taken.

Honest mistake, I too can read, all that I ment was why compare a shit band to ministry also my comment maybe absurd and stupid but so is yours because you obviously knew who I was talking to, not you. So if you like ministry lets agree to the song SO WHAT!!
If anyone ever heard Ministry's first album they wouldn't believe the garbage they shit out then in comparison to this unadulterated, raw and ingenius industrial poetry.
Die!4X Scum sucking depravity debauched! Anal fuck-fest, thrill olympics Savage scourge supply and sanctify So what? so what? Die! die! die! die! Die!4X You said it! Sedatives supplied become laxatives My eyes shit out lies I only kill to know Im alive So what? so what? Die!4X
So what, its your problem to learn to live with Destroy us, or make us saints We dont care, its not our fault that we were born too late A screaming headache on the brow of the state Killing time is appropriate To make a mess and fuck all the rest, we say, we say So what? so what? Die!4X Die! Now I know what is right Ill kill them all if I like Im a time bomb inside No one listens to reason, Its too late and Im ready to fight! So what? now Im ready to fight!

I believe that the shit now is worse than the shit then, and that a lot of the now "good stuff" is a derivative copy of the then good stuff, so I'd question your comment
Which new "pretty cool stuff" are you talking of ?
I don't think a lot of people know that Chris did some of the lead vocals on this album, especially people who are just now finding out about the band. Chris was awesome. "I only kill to know I'm alive."
Where do you see Al in a suit? From the few brief shots we see of him (5:05), it seems to me he's wearing a cowboy hat and a leather jacket. You realize that's Chris Connelly doing the lead singing, right?
I'm quoting a post by "Grossmiscondust666" from 10 months ago: As far as i can remember the faces its: Connelly - Vocals Paul Barker & Martin Atkins (fuzzy blond) - Drums Al Jourgensen - Backup vocals (in the 5min marks with his white cowboy hat) Nivek Ogre - offstage (fuck art lets kill t shirt) Wikipedia has these members listed for the year this tour was made: Mike Scaccia - Guitar Bill Reiflin - Drums/Programming (not shown) Terry Roberts - Guitar William Tucker - Guitar
This song is about how young people don't have to take shit from adults, since all the problems in society come from them anyway. The song's angry and nihilistic because Al's whole point is that this isn't anything new, and isn't going to change anytime soon.
adults create the world children live in! and we complain about the kids, what the fuck? i am 39 years old but todays kids are so much cooler than we ever were, no lie!
You gotta admit this though, they aren't as stand up as we used to be. Alot more pacifist I mean, but they are pretty cool too. I hope that doesn't hurt them in the long run

I DID feel like showing up, I missed this show cuz I had surgery 3 days prior to this & couldn't go. My bf at the time went & said it was amazing & the crowd was insane! I was so sad missing this & to add insult to injury, he told me Ogre was there (Fuck Art Let's Kill) who I had a huge crush on. But thanks for uploading this video, I can live vicariously through this. BTW, has anyone here read Chris Connelly's new biography? It's very good & lots of talk about this time in his life.
Ah man gutting you couldnt get there. Im reading Connelly's bio at the moment. Its great cause I read about something that happened then watch it online! It kind of gets you into the in jokes that were happening on stage but you didnt get just by watching the video.
If anyone is curious, the sound clips from this song come from an old movie called The Violent Years. It's the speech the judge gives the parents in court at the end. Just FYI (i'm a movie dork as well as a fan)
I agree with andrew, parkview you are an idiot,it's completely fine that you don't like indie, but why would you force yourself to listen to it,and then comment in such a way..I too think you are a sexually deprived broke ass idiot..feel free to go back to your (c)Rap so -called music dipshit
read chris connellys bio for the heads up[
