Dena'h has grown so much. Even just comparing this to Egyptian Lover barely a year before - Egyptian Lover was amazing, and she showed control beyond what most dancers her age find possible. This is something else though. You can tell just by looking at her. She's matured extraordinarily as a dancer. I have nothing bad to say about Dena'h. She's prodigiously talented, she works hard to nurture it, and you can tell how much passion she has for dance. I think this is her best solo yet.

SN: The thing that bothers me about most dance costumes now are they are NOT costumes anymore. It works out I guess, because if they forget their top or bottom they can run to the nearest Wal*Mart or the dance shop out in the lobby of the competition...but what happened to the glitz?

@gogreen96 Actually, most competitions define lyrical as having to have lyrics in the song. Friends of mine had a duet that was somewhat this style to an instrumental piece and it was put into the "specialty" category because it would not qualify as lyrical.

@jbjsmithlove Dena'h dances a totally different genre of dance than Simrin does, thus your opinion is invalid. You can say you like popping or hip hop more than contemporary and jazz, but you can't say someone is 'better' because they just happen to dance another genre.

@LexBex0608 Yes she is talented yes she brings a lot to the stage yes she is amazing in class and yes she isn't perfect and has stuff to work on. I am sure she KNOWS what her technique challenges are. I hope so if she wants to get better. She is talented, a lot of kids are, but her technique issues need to be addressed if she wants to continue improving. She isn't allows the best kid on the stage or in the room and it is her technique flaws that might be the thing holding her back.

Love this! Talented dancer and talented choreographer

I love how the simplest of movements, like pointing/flexing your foot, mixed with the accents in the music made such an impact on the piece. Although she has always been a very talented dancer, she has certainly grown and improved into an excellent technician and mover.

The turn sequence at 2:14 is so perfect!
