  • Play should have been blown dead when the holder stands up on the high snap. Jus' sayin' Good kick though

  • kids got a boot

  • Nice kick man! :)

Bet he's going to Nebraska. The best kickers go there.

  • wow boise st could use him

  • What league is this because they all look like fat kids.....

  • vid starts at 0:50

  • Its not that amazing... they use smaller balls which are alot easier to kick.

  • Wow.. This guy is 20X better than Boise States kicker!

  • nice kick

  • He should go to Boise State! Unless he then chokes and misses...but the way he kicked oh my

  • what are the odds, the white kids sucked at running back so they put the black kid in....

  • he will be a hell of a kicker if he sticks with it. that was almost perfect.

  • He had to be Mexican...

  • this dude with the top comment up there seriously thinks that wouldve gone 50+ yards? What a dumbass stfu dude smh

  • skip to 51 you will thank me later

  • Send him to Alabama!

  • this is crazy i can only kick a 37 and im in 9th

  • Man how come its always a kid with a orange or golden shoe damn lol

  • GREAT kick! Especially for an 8th grader! 43 yards doesn't sound like a ''massive'' kick, but when you see 43 yards on a football field, and imagine a Middle Schooler kicking that, it really is impressive!

  • @jackhammer1200 how do u no the game wasnt 13-20? and then he made the PAT to make it 20????

  • that kid haves a leg on his futrue so he might want to be a nfl kicker.

  • He took 5 steps, more like a kickoff.

  • @5lobster as long as he delivers i dont see what the difer is

  • he did it from a kickoff distance any kicker can do that

  • @bigmaczado4 in eigth grade?

  • @bigmaczado4 no not at all.

  • that's DAMN impressive for an 8th grader!!

  • hahaha at all the people critizing the kick and the hold leaving his knee...GROW UP AND GET A LIFE U LIL FAGGOT ASS QUEERS YALL NEED TO GET A DANG LIFE IT WAS A GOOD KICK TO WIN IN A GOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL GAME SO SHUT UP WITH ALL THAT U CARRIBEAN ANKLE SOCK WEARING DOUCHES

  • Nice boot! Great job by your holder getting that ball down too.

  • Good solid Kick.

  • in the grade school a field goal is 2 points and a 2 point conversion is 1

  • thats more than 3 steps look where the balls at the 33 an hes at the 38 O.o

  • hE HAD TO HAVE MISSED A PAT THE TYING SCORE WAS 20-20

  • @jackhammer1200 Or they went for two on there first TD of the game. Which is what happened haha.

  • @jackhammer1200 thats not true its called two touchdowns(14pts counting pats) and two field goals (6points) which if you add up boy genus, it equals 20 points.

  • @jackhammer1200 Or , They had two feild goals and two touchdowns ,

  • @jackhammer1200 If you can't figure it out. Watch the game. search "gk middle school football" and the first 2 videos are the game in question. Then you can see what happened.

  • @jackhammer1200 um, in American Football.......2 FGs + 2 TDs + 2PATs = 20 points (14+6)....they don't teach math in 8th grade anymore?

  • @jackhammer1200 or they kicked 2 field goals

  • @jackhammer1200 He had to of? Two TDs, two PATs and two field goals would give you the same score. Or they could have went for two after one of three TDs and failed to make it.

  • Whos team name is the cogs?

  • He's also not kicking off the ground, but a 1 inch tee. Great kick no doubt, but nothing special or out of the ordinary.

  • That still had some leg for atleast a 50 yd. nice work

  • NFHS rules allow the holder to come up off the ground to grab the snap, then go back down immediately for the hold. Those on here who say this shouldn't count don't know the rules. Great kick, kid... see ya in the pros.

  • The only black kid on the team is the kicker... Wow.

  • @AndyRantz actually the kicker is mexican lol.

  • @gkcogs so good from playing soccer in the streets

  • @crazyboondocker haha.

  • @AndyRantz the RB is black, but what does it even matter?

  • @jakse8 Breaking cliches.

  • @AndyRantz ha thats funny lol

  • @AndyRantz what does color have to do it? lol really? I am tired of race being brought into everything. The color of your skin has nothing to do with how well you play etc. its the desire to do better.

  • some big 8th graders there...

  • @WISCONSINWOODSHUNTER Its in the papers and recorded by the AP im pretty sure they are 8th graders and there are things called pads.

  • @gkcogs big as in awful tall big. what i mean is that theyre probably from a really big school thats all.

  • @gkcogs ya i didnt say they werent 8th graders you dont have to get so defensive lol

  • if he wants to pursue kicking in college, steps need to be taken care of. strong leg though

  • Haha at 0:46 "Son of a bitch." Some people take middle school football too seriously. What a joke.

  • balls

  • 0:50

  • Props to the holder too, that snap was horrendous.

  • These douchebags that say "oh this is nothing special." "oh, i used to kick 45 yards when i was in 7th grade" make me laugh. Most of you couch warriors never even played any sports, let alone kick a field goal. If you notice, this kid cleared the post with a plenty of room, so this could've been good for 50+ yrds even. He also kicked it with a good trajectory that college/pro players won't be able to block. This is a great kick. How many Div 1 kickers or even NFL kickers miss 40 yard FGs?

  • @mrslugur You summed it up for me mrsluger and to awnser your question I am going to go out on a limb and say a lot. lol

  • @mrslugur ur right. graham gano misses under 5 yarders. this kid should play 4 the redskins.

  • @mrslugur all i know is te cowboys missed a 21 yard FG against the 49ers lol

  • @mrslugur A WHOLE FUKING LOT MISS 40 YARD FG'S lol

  • @405Australia not robbie gould lol

  • @mrslugur well said

  • I hit these when i was in 8th grade... Not that special.

  • @iHuskerx sure you did

  • @fomyppl Don't believe me? I'll record a 45/50 yard kick when it gets warmer out...

  • not too shabby

  • needs to work on his steps for sure

  • @15vardar He walks sideways and use to kick the ball with the side of his foot like he was kicking a penalty.

  • Honestly, this is not all that special. Go to England, Australia, wherever they play lots of rugby and kids grow up kicking balls, you can find many 8th graders doing the same thing or better. In fact I remember hitting a few 40 yarders in the 7th grade.

  • that kid is better than the Jets kicker nick folk

  • @SConnelly53 Well he is defiantly better then the steelers kicker I mean my god he sucks.

  • @gkcogs haha

  • hes better in middle school than high school

  • @davidwilsonrules He's had problems his freshman year with hitting the tee but that is behind him now. He hasn't gotten many chances this last year to kick but can still hit 55 on a good day. He is mostly a punter now and you can see videos of him laying punts on the one yard line in some of our videos as well.

  • Um what? 5 Quarters? Was this in Overtime?

  • @OneFIew Yep and it ended up being for the conference championship!

  • the kid has a great LEG however he needs a better team around him or he wont get looked at. go to some kicking camps!

  • not to be a downer but the kick "technically" shouldnt count

the holder left his knee to get the ball and put it back down on the ground there fre it is considered dead and the game is over

  • @Bballdesire787 Middle school rules are different, man.

  • @GFMStenorSAX There really not but hes still wrong. If the holder places his knee down while the kick is being made it is still good.

  • @Bballdesire787 IESA rules state as long as the holders knee is down when the kick is being made the kick remains legal.

  • @gkcogs if it matters to anybody, where i play if the ball goes through its good. i had a kick this year where the snap went real bad the holder jumped up and put the ball of the tee while standing up. the kick went through and the refs raised their arms.

  • @Bballdesire787 not down by contact, the balls still in play. Some one would have had to tag him after he had knelt back down. It counts.

  • @Bballdesire787 i saw that right away haha

  • @Bballdesire787 theres actually a rule that says that a holder who has to lift his knee off the ground in order to catch the snap, if he returns immediately to the holder position then the play is still live

  • @Bballdesire787 No it's counted as a fumble .

  • @Bballdesire787 "Technically" that doesn't matter if the rules state its okay. There can be a rule where the player must be touched (with ball in possession) in order to be considered "down/tackled".

  • I can do beter :P

  • He was prolly Mexican

  • when the snap got fucked up who said not again? NO HELP

  • BIG DEAL

I play football (the real deal, with the feet and the round ball) and I could do this with my eyes shut.

  • @DaniboyBR2 not with an oval ball. it's not aerodynamic when kicked, like a round ball.

    é brasileiro?

  • @SeuJacks Yes with an egg-ball. E sim, sou brasileiro.

  • @DaniboyBR2 not a chance in hell. no offense but soccer screws up the techneque of kicking a football.

  • @B0BBY77 The way NFL kickers kick the ball today is the soccer way. It's way more accurate. You can see that by the accuracy rates of NFL kickers before and after Pete Gogolak, hungarian NFL kicker who first showed this technique.

  • @B0BBY77 LOL? Robinho can do keep-ups with the eggball. Football is the best way to increase you foot technique because, well, you only use your feet...

I've already kicked around a rugby ball and once a american eggball too and I can kick the shit out of those both.

  • Thank you @Therooster85 for breaking that down... I thought none of these tards could see the 20yd line marker! lol.... And even though the kick is only between a 36-39 yarder it IS an impressive kick! ESPECIALLY the fact that he could have taken it back another 10 yards easily!!!! GREAT JOB Kicker! And the friend who posted! I know my input is pretty late... But i dont usually search videos to leave negative comments like most people seem to do! lol GREAT JOB once again!

  • i bet he was mexican :)

    lol NO RACIAL

  • It was a 35 yard. Ball was at the 17-18 yrd line then 7 yards back to the 25 then add the 10 for end zone... still great kick

  • Talented kid.

  • 39 yards... look at the yard marker on the sideline, the holder is kneeling just inside the 30 add 10 yards and you have a 39 yarder

  • 39 yards... look at the yard marker on the sideline, the holder is kneeling just inside the 30 add 10 yards and you have a 39 yarder

  • he kicked that like a soccer player haha.

  • Yes, I love it when coaches in the sky view scream the play into the headset after it happens. Very helpful to the coaches calling the defense on the field.

  • Hampshire's kicker: Jake Gholson has kicked a 45 yarder in practice

  • Very impressive kick! Regardless of the press, it was a 40 yd field goal. He could have made it from 50 it looks like.

  • your guys center is awful. two bad snaps in a row. good kick though.

  • your guys center is awful. two bad snaps in a row.

  • damn if that was 43 yards, he coulda nailed it from 50+

  • it wasnt 43, he kicked from a line and lines go by 5, derrrrrrrr

  • Nice Kick, even for the NFL that be a sighht to see. Hope u make it in the NFL

  • that wasnt 43 yards

  • look at the play before and count the hashes it is 43 yards and was confirmed by the Illinois press association.

  • @gkcogs Couldn't be. The kick occurs from barely inside a yard-line, and definitely not 2 yards within. Also, according to the sideline yard-marker, the ball is being snapped from between the 20 and 25...looks to be about the 23. With a 6- or 7-yard snap that means this FG is from 39 and no more than 40 yards out. Still a very impressive kick, but not 43 as claimed.

  • @gkcogs it kinda looks like 40

  • @gkcogs Actually, if you look where the ball is kicked from (@ 0:52), you can see it's placed just in front of the 30 yrd line. (Follow the line it's on and check out the "30" yard line marker on the far side of the field.) It's placed on the 29.5 yard line, so it's a 39.5 yard FG. Not 43, but still pretty damn good for and 8th grader.

  • @gkcogs that had to be longer than 43. Great kick!

  • Wow! good kick kid hope to see you in the NFL some day!

  • You must be a proud dad.

  • dang he had a lot of time to get that kick off

  • nice kick though. the kid could have gone for a longer one but the rest of the offense weren't that bad.

  • Comment removed

  • Their runningbacks and Qb is shit....or they have a bad center

  • insane field goal ,but horrible o line

  • Couldn't have been a 43, he was on a line that goes by fives. So maybe a 45?

  • Leigh Tiffin (Alabama kicker) would have missed that.

  • haha agreed

  • HUGE GRADE EIGHTS

  • not really did you see the sidelines. there tiny as hell lol

  • @0rl4ndoZ were i live we 6'0 and over people in eight grade we even could dunk

  • Great kick!!! Kudos as well to the holder for leaping up to grab a high snap and getting it spotted in time. Nice high kick too. Way to go!!!

  • haha, thats pretty cool. i go to winnebago, i'm a sophomore, but being able to kick a 43 yarder as a middle schooler is pretty impressive. he nailed it to.

    props

  • did you see him this year he is the punter now for varsity gk

  • nice kick. i play soccer but im also gonna try to be kicker for the football team

  • i wouldn't if i were u. its not worth to do all that work just to kick. play for another position and do kicker as well.

  • yah i agree with elcoyote i was good but didnt look like it was 43 yards

  • Watch the whole thing and count the yard markers it was 43 and could have been 50+

  • idk that was a good kick but it didn't look like it went 43

  • look at the yard markers. and the reason I showed the play before when the QB got kicked back 20 yards. You can tell its deff 43.

  • how the fuck does that happen? who can kick it that far? nice job though :)

  • Yeh this kid is now punting for high school team as a freshman and nailed 3 one yard line spots this year.

  • nice job by the holder and good kick..would have went from 50+

  • Good kick.

  • I go to KMS!!!!!!

  • Where is that?

  • HOLY SHIT THAT WAS A NICE KICK

  • damn great kick

  • we do suck for football everyone knows it..but nobody can deny how great we are at soccer..40-0 in conference last 4 years? State Champs 2008? Congrats on winning 8th grade conference football.

  • Genoa Kingston is the best.Winnebago is just jealous because we got there spot to the confernce this year. But the 7th grade team this year, when they are in 8th grade are gonna dominate! GK COGS RULE! WE KICKED ASSSS!!!![[[: fuck all yuh who think we suck.

  • " and have fun kicking by yourself for no reason BYe.lol " i practice kicking with a friend and im going to be kicking for my highschool next year ass whipe
