Kirk may be better at improvisation, but that doesn't make the playing better. And Dave would have to practice it for months? No fucking way. Take this and compare it to any Mustaine solos and it will blow Kirk's solo out of the water in speed and usually technicality as well. It doesn't matter if you can come up with something on the spot if it sucks or is mediocre anyways. Kirk Hammett sucks compared to him there is no argument bro Dave is a god Kirk's.... a faggot.

Metallica sold out and always planned to with Kirk as evidence. Instead of choosing a skilled shredder like Dave, they chose a shitty melodic guitarist. Melodic playing is fine, but not for thrash metal, which Kirk is not a player of. Listen to anything from the black album and on and Kirk doesn't play good solos. He masks his lack of talent with the whammy bar. If you truly believe that Hammett is better then skill means nothing to you. Mustaine drags Hammett in the dirt and you deny it.
