Oh my word, is he STILL making Bob Jones jokes? We saw them in Charlotte in October and he was just going on and on about BJU... which was hilarious, since my husband is an alumni. We totally called him on it after his set and he was all apologetic (not that we cared, my husband isn't super fond of his alma mater). But hey, he gave us a free cd for our troubles. :)
Oh my word no. This genre of music is not exactly BJU's cup of tea, AT ALL (they are strict, but not nearly as bad as they once were.) At the Charlotte Show he didn't pretend like they had played there, just talked about driving by and how funny it would have been *if* they had played there. It's funny that he's still talking about it all the way up in NY... it makes sense around here, it's more local. But to *still* be talking about it... it's kind of weird, actually. :)

Haha, nice. This was the first of several jokes about BJU, actually. They really allowed Mike to play there? I thought they were uber-strict?
