To bad they were off in just a few spots, still I live the descending fifths sequence with triplets in the upper against the 32nd's in the lower voice (3rd mvt) it always makes me smile
Am I the only one who can recognize Sara Chang, Vadim Repin, Mischa Maisky and Gidon Kremer amongst the orchestra? (not to mention the fouw soloists mentioned in the description)
This has long been a favorite piece of mine, and a friend just recommended this clip to me--I've watched / listened to it 5 times in a row now, and I can't stop from getting misty-eyed each time!
i can't understand why people nowadays can't appreciate this music. it's so nice and shows us a lot of emotions! I LOVE THIS! thanks a lot for posting it =)
poor vivaldi. if he could only knew his masterpiece would end up in the arms of 4 spoiled piano superstars butchering it as a „bach“ piece he would have got a coeliac disease just by thinking of it. dog damn it, what an asswipe performance, at least they could have shown some respect for the dead artists' keepsake. fuck meah, gotta take a ginormous dump right now!
too good....spellbinding.....thanks for the upload :)

Is needed such a constellation of monsters to honor the genius of Bach and Vivaldi together!
I agree with lonely270. For the sake of justice is needed to aggreggate the other star that are in the orchestra. Thanks yhw81!
