I work with a guy who worked for Don Schumacher Racing, he made about 60k, but that's after a few years on the team. First starting out, they get about 36k a year, and have to do the worst jobs, like under the car while hot oil and dust is falling on your face...

european drag racing teams don't make much money at all. they run on a shoe string budget.

its a fraction of what the american teams get, hence why they run much faster in the US.
