How in the blue hell does TNA need Bill and Doug? For all that matters, TNA needs to focus on their actual product rather than some lame YouTube show.
But the concept is there -- they don't have to do it for as long as him, or word for word. In fact, they script out the show, so they can trim the fact and still sell the one match the same way Josh did, in a shorter amount of time, because they prepared their words and statements.
Yes they do they are on the TNA channel which means they have up to an hour I beleave at in rate the first show was about 15min so yes they have the time to do that.

ROH lives on DVD sales and Merchandise. For anyone to say the ticket sales don't make an
impact I would have to say BS on that. Sixty bucks for a front row seat in Vegas and I didn't see one empty seat in that front row. I also saw people buying about 6 dvds at a time.

They've done Chicago shows time and time again, so you've proven, once again, you don't know dick about what you're talking about. The Vegas show flopped because the venue had an age restriction, thus turning away crowds because they were too young to enter the building. The San Fran show failed because the event it was apart of was poorly run, and not only that, but the venue was too big for ROH to have filled on their first run in the Bay area. But their UK and Japan tour were both successful.
Stop finding excuses to cover up the flaws of ROH. Most of ROH's fans are adults so once again I've proven you wrong. TNA has never run shows in Canada but yet they got over 2,000 fans.
TNA has done working deals with Border City Wrestling in 2005 thanks to Scott D'Amore, so you're wrong there. See the trend?
ROH didn't do shows, officially, in Japan -- just sent out their talents for exposure thanks to a working relationship with NOAH -- and they drew in 1,800 fans on their OWN name. TNA does a show in Japan with NJPW at the Tokyo Dome, and draws in a pitiful for the Dome, 26,000 WITH NJPW. See the difference?
Do you know, exactly, how many teenage fans there are for ROH? ROH's main core ranges from 18-35 male demographic, much like WWE and TNA, but it also appeals to YOUNGER teens and children the same way WWE and TNA do. Also, families do attend these shows, surprisingly enough. So yes, the Vegas show being a flop because of the age restriction did hurt, and no, it's not an excuse. Maybe if we were talking about TNA, instead, you'd agree with that statement, but of course you won't.

But the concept is there -- they don't have to do it for as long as him, or word for word. In fact, they script out the show, so they can trim the fact and still sell the one match the same way Josh did, in a shorter amount of time, because they prepared their words and statements.

ROH lives on DVD sales and Merchandise. For anyone to say the ticket sales don't make an
impact I would have to say BS on that. Sixty bucks for a front row seat in Vegas and I didn't see one empty seat in that front row. I also saw people buying about 6 dvds at a time.

ROH is not WWE or TNA. It doesn't have to be. It is a INDEPENDENT WRESTLING
PROMOTION. It doesn't have a billionaire running it. It doesn't have a power
company mogul's daughter running it. It has a guy that saw a company in
trouble and came in and opened the check book. When TNA was losing a million
a year, ROH was turning profit. Because it understands its model. It took
shots going to San Fran and Vegas. It tested the market and took notes.

Nigel/Dragon/Briscoes and others have their one-year contracts expire. Could
RoH REALLY survive if some of their main players were offered developmental
deals w/ WWE or a contract w/ TNA. Sure, they survived before when the TNA
talent was pulled, and Colt/Sydal left. However, if they lost, say, The

Oh brother. The indy scene is filled with tremendous talents, and ROH can survive on them if push came to shove. They already have a good future in Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black, Erick Stevens and Brent Albright, thus far. What's to prevent them from getting guys like Kenny Omega? They lose a few stars, make a few along the way, and continue the trend just like any other promotion out there.

They simply cannot put on the same quality cards they have in the past. One
thing that hurt ROH starting around the end of 2006 is that they had no choice
to but to put in some "filler" material. They were simply out of
talent options. I don't see that trend stopping in 2008 as they have already
announced that some of the ROH stars will miss time with Japan comittments and
as a cost-reduction measure.

Also, ROH cannot risk going into new unproven markets at this time. Look at
the Chicago Spectacular shows or the Las Vegas show from this year to see how
much a quality ROH show depends on the crowd.
ROH's bigger problem is that they are running out of top notch indy talent.

They've done Chicago shows time and time again, so you've proven, once again, you don't know dick about what you're talking about. The Vegas show flopped because the venue had an age restriction, thus turning away crowds because they were too young to enter the building. The San Fran show failed because the event it was apart of was poorly run, and not only that, but the venue was too big for ROH to have filled on their first run in the Bay area. But their UK and Japan tour were both successful.

TNA has done working deals with Border City Wrestling in 2005 thanks to Scott D'Amore, so you're wrong there. See the trend?
ROH didn't do shows, officially, in Japan -- just sent out their talents for exposure thanks to a working relationship with NOAH -- and they drew in 1,800 fans on their OWN name. TNA does a show in Japan with NJPW at the Tokyo Dome, and draws in a pitiful for the Dome, 26,000 WITH NJPW. See the difference?

Do you know, exactly, how many teenage fans there are for ROH? ROH's main core ranges from 18-35 male demographic, much like WWE and TNA, but it also appeals to YOUNGER teens and children the same way WWE and TNA do. Also, families do attend these shows, surprisingly enough. So yes, the Vegas show being a flop because of the age restriction did hurt, and no, it's not an excuse. Maybe if we were talking about TNA, instead, you'd agree with that statement, but of course you won't.

isnt saying without the dvds ROH wouldnt be here kinda like saying without the good, there would be bad?
And of course TNA can "risk going into new unproven marktets" they are owned by a Parent Company. They have money from Panda. But lets all remember that WCW had money from Turner and Time Warner (thats an embelishment but you get the point) and where is WCW now? Its almost pointless to compare a fed owned by a parent company with a tv deal to an indy fed (even if its a good one)

I have to take issue with the suggestion that ROH makes money off their ticket
gate. No chance that happens. The business model they run under appears to
be: hopefully cover the cost of the venue and production, maybe some of the
talent costs with ticket sales and make up the rest on DVD sales.

When proven wrong, turn to a different well that looks the same, and hope for a different result. Lovely plan there.
Everything washes over the other, and the ticket sales, along with the DVD sales, and the other merchandise sales, helps to pay for everything done. The business model works, that's why they're not losing money, only generating an effect where the money isn't coming in fast enough to cover all of their expenses - creating the illusion of losing out on money.

The "finnancer" of TNA, and you can't figure out that cut backs are normal in business? That it's not a sign of losing money, just a sign of a company trying to step up their profit lines? You can't see that?
