if only his face muscels were as co-ordinated as his hands.. I could have carried on watching. And another thing! We are British! Why does anyone with intelligence want to look or act anything like a typical USA guitar shredding Twat.
@DerEchteBold I just got one and i can't use it infront of the amp as it's just crazy on the noise front i have to dial it all the eqs back to like -4. I plug it in the loop of my amp and it works fine.
Hi there, fantastic vlideo! I use a Roland JC 120 for it's awsome clean sound, and am thinking of getting the G Lab 206 pedal... to have the best of both worlds (clean and crunch) Do you think this pedal will sound as awsome through the JC120 as it does through the crunch chanel of your orange amp? Cheers dude, keep on rocking!
Hey i have that jimi poster too :P Got it signed by the amp guru himself Jim Marshall, was yours signed too? (might have been there the same day as me :P)
Wonderful presentation and playing as usual, Chappers, especially liked the vinegar-stroke facial expressions.
Polyphony was not the correct term, but to hear any metal-head use polysyllabic words is always a pleasant surprise, despite the gratuitous use of 'awesome', which made me hang my head in my hands.
It'll be interesting to see how many 'thumbs down' I receive for being a symantic wanker.
xcellenty-hendrix tone perfect-fun factor 10-great playing as always I just love playing those 24 fret guitars it makes the upper registers so much easier to play round don't you think.Pedal sounds good especially with the wah. Keep doing what you do monkey lord-respect.

Seriously, it's just lame. "Hey, I'm Rob Chappers, but I like to call myself the Monkey Lord because, you know, I'm a bit crazy like that! I'm a silly, silly funny guy! That's right, I'm being SILLY! I'm subverting your expectations by being a thirty year-old relying on a four year-old's sense of humour! Isn't that FUNNY? Ha! I'm just so KOOKY and SILLY!"
Voodoo ;Not as lame as someone who makes the same observation 3 times. You obviously have a small penis , and as a 20 year old you are unable to tell the difference between shit and pudding.
Oh, one more thing:) If you receive your new Horizon, please do a review about the differences between this LTD and the new instrument... I'm really curious how they feel in relation to another.
Excellent tone mate, that wicked bend at 7:56 was like a dwarf getting kicked square in the nuts! Not only does this vid demo the jawsomeness of the pedal but once again illustrates the amazing versatility of the Orange amp!! Was your running through the clean or dirty on the amp? And how much gain if on the dirty? Cheers!
Hi Mojo, love the dwarf nuts scenario thing! The Rockerverb was set to a very mild crunch on the dirty channel, so I still had a clean tone available :-) The clean channel on a rockerverb does not dirty at all.
hi mojo , my mates son is only 5 foot 2 so I kicked him hard in the balls as an experiment but I have to tell you all he did was cry for an hour. So much for science...
Indeed mojo Chappers may seem mellow but I know for a fact that he knows many ways to crush your nuts. He is something of a martial artist on the quiet.
Oh I'm sorry I won't do it any more I promise......
No really I won't..
Not once will I utter the true name of teh ancient simian deity lord, who's single footstep brings thundererous might down upon his ubiquitous crab foe, whilst his majestic behemoth fist rises up into the air to stike freedom for all those who are sentient!

I have a perfectly healthy sense of humour. I just do not see how anyone can find a grown man giving HIMSELF the moniker of 'the monkey lord' funny. It's just a bit sad.
Hey Mr Chappers - some good stuff going on there. I'm back with it now and will soon be locking myself away with guitar, amp and monkeylord lessons. In fact, if I were to dedicate a song to your playing it would go something like this:
I'm sure it's been remarked upon before, but I'd like to mention how cool it is that you have a Jimi poster next to a Kerry King poster. Two influences that taste great together, so to speak. Cheers!
rob, your vids are so energetic, that i always smile while wathing you playing. thats great. that wah-mouth is really great. by the way i do it too :D
You're funny guy and a good player, but you didn't really show any features of the pedal.

just bought that thing
main reason was this vid
but i really have no idea what you meant by "epic button"
DerEchteBold 1 year ago
@DerEchteBold
Helloo.. If you listen carefully, he says he was joking about the epic button.
So having bought the pedal..waddya reckon?
SONGSTICKS 1 year ago
@SONGSTICKS
huh?
think my english's not good enough to understand what you mean
(as it was not good enough to get the joke)
but nevertheless thanks for the hint
DerEchteBold 1 year ago
@DerEchteBold
watch the video again..at 1.15 he says about the epic button, then says "it hasn't really".
I was hoping you'd give me a second opinion of the pedal, as I'm watching one on ebay.
Cheers
SONGSTICKS 1 year ago
@SONGSTICKS
2nd opinion?
i think i can't give one
it's just like he says - the sound is vintage
somewhere i read the question "is the pedal versatile"
i would say no
but what it does is great
it makes even a really dirty sound kinda transparent and i love that
but if you like to handle everything with gain it would be definetily not your choice
DerEchteBold 1 year ago
@SONGSTICKS
i forgot that the many functions he mentions are not that many to me
and also the dip switch settings could be more versatile
and of course it may depend on what stuff you use also
cause with my boss gt 10 and coolpedals dirty devil it can get a bit noisy
but maybe it's not meant to run with such thingys
DerEchteBold 1 year ago
@DerEchteBold
Thanks for that.
I recently got myself a Boss GT-3 for £65 and I love it to bits.
Makes my laptop slide sound wonderfully crisp and zingy.
The stuff I play is what you might call genrecally challenged !!
Whacky and drifty with a bit of dirt thrown in for good measure.
Thanks again for your opinion on the G-Lab
Cheers
