Very thoughtful and thought-provoking. Seems to me the main thing about feeding everyone is, to stop the world's population increasing any more. Especially in the richer countries, a third child = a 50% increase in the population and more pressure on the planet and its wildlife. We just have to stop having too many kids.

Growing more food is superfluous, there's plenty to go around as it is. However developing technique to grow it in otherwise desolate areas would be something very benefitial.
For peace and prosperity to reign, a market system as today, as well as the ideology of today would need a radical change. We'll soon be going to war for much more basic things than oil. And no, market economy is not sustainable. ;-)

Very thoughtful and thought-provoking. Seems to me the main thing about feeding everyone is, to stop the world's population increasing any more. Especially in the richer countries, a third child = a 50% increase in the population and more pressure on the planet and its wildlife. We just have to stop having too many kids.
I don't include the developing world so much because they use so little in comparison with the developed nations.

if you think about what is happening in the world now... all the riots, protests, corruption in politics, it feels like the end of the world... and if this keeps going on, then the coming generation will not be able to live in peace...

Peace will exist in the world only if EVERY nation state remains sovereign, clean of all forms of foreigners (rulers, bankers, controlled immigrants), powerful enough to defend itself against any threat and FREE OF ANY FORM OF DEBT!!!!
