I just can't get enough of this song as this is simply better than the original. I live in the UK and somehow i always imagine her singing this on the XFactor. Can't say it better. Not only is she pitch perfect but she tries to use her chest voice on the high notes as much as she can, very rarely resorting to head voice. Listen to 5:57 - 2:05. The original was done in head but Regine belted the D5 then kicked higher to E5 in chest complete with vibrato! And that's certainly pure chest, not at all mixed. More than that, her vibrato sounds very natural and has the perfect frequency , neither too fast nor too slow, injecting it at appropriate places.

I found this on a lark as well and was bowled over.
